I see it now. The moment Trump becomes president all of the sudden that amount of crime and murders will suddenly skyrocket (before he even does anything) while people's lives become observably safer.

The problem comes down to how grocery stores code things. For example, if alcohol is coded as a grocery, it will pass through EBT. PLU (price look up) codes are universal, but SKUs (stop keeping units) are not. You aren't supposed to use EBT to buy booze and cigarettes, but some places figure out ways to sneak it through and there is not enough oversight, so it goes through.

Personally I think Kamala's campaign was placing large bets in her favor to build momentum and keep it close because lots of people are watching it like a poll. Now that her campaign is falling apart and support is dwindling she can't afford to keep the act up.

I don’t understand people who are unable to face reality without the assistance of drugs or booze. Like even if Kamala wins, I’m not going to go get drunk to wash away the sorrows, because come the next day she’d still have won and all I’d have is disappointment and maybe a hangover.

I wrote an effortpost about Purdue not that long ago. Purdue Pharma didn't sell people oxycodone for toothaches. It was a combination of poor scheduled drug controls, greedy doctors, and greedy insurance companies. Without all the other moving parts, Purdue would not have been able to accomplish what it did.

Yeah but polymarket is a betting app not a poll. I'm guessing back in 2016 it would have looked like that in Clintons favor.
