It's also Phil fighting a strawman in a game he invented, winning said game because he said so and then gloating and giving himself a badge because he won the game he invented against an enemy that was intentionally stupid.
Everyone here and elsewhere always said that there was no reason for Phil to deny WWE Champions as much as he did since his dents wouldn't care. This was always said, just stream the gacha game, make money and for once enjoy something everyone knows you enjoy Phil. He did it and it worked, his whales are still there and his regulars knew about it aswell, but since that means detractors are right he now has to act like they never said it.

Also, he literally admitted that the whole "money for groceries" was, to no one's surprise, a lie and an exaggeration and that it wasn't always as bad and he panicked. But that was a long time ago and he learned, but also he needs tips for groceries, this time for real tho, even though he's admitted to lying for 15 years and still willing to do it whenever he deems convenient.
