Hate to be this guy, but the tencent tanking ubi stock to buy it up cheaply has been deboonked. Minority shareholders in Ubisoft SPECULATED this and wrote it in a letter with literally zero proof, not to mention the fact ubi stock has been tanking since COVID due to a myriad of retarded business decisions.

I sold my PC a while back bc I was on it too much, completely unrelated to this stuff, I ended up buying a sports bike with the cash, don't regret it.

Most my games on xbox are digi. I have a few on disc but don't play them anymore. I do plan to keep playing my Xbox. And as for indie devs, that's what I stated. I even gave an example.

I just don't plan to buy anymore from public traded companies.

Prime example is CDPR their CEO states they hire by merit, but you have this ghoulish looking pale ass pole in a video looking like he's reading off a script at gunpoint talking about DEI.

Literally hate the impersonal digital age. Fucking rancid.

I figured that the Tencent rumor was bullshit. Another thing to consider is that the regulatory climate has changed completely, with both the EU and US now being more aggressive with China. There is no way that EU/French regulators would allow a company as big as Ubisoft to be taken over by a company that is (significantly) suspected of having links to the CCP regime.

Oh! I was just looking at GPUs the other day and I noticed this and Space Marine 2 being bundled with a bunch of them. I know SM2 but I had no idea what this was and I didn't care enough to look it up.

Sweet Baby wouldn't have gotten a foothold if developers like that didn't already employ people sympathetic to their cause that made it possible for SB to approach them. There's also an irony with all this inclusivity. What they see as the hostile alt-right, chud or brah studios doesn't have nearly as many scandals as the inclusive studios. iirc a lot of the complaining about the bioware(blizzard?) breast milk scandal came down to women being filthy and not cleaning up after themselves. Which is men's fault, somehow.

What is funny is that the people working on the show described her as not meeting traditional beauty standards or something. They called HER UGLY! They really think that white people think of every single person belonging in a different race as looking like the Toxic Avenger or something. That must be it.

Late but I had an epiphany about this. Most of the "badass women" from the anglosphere we know have traditionally male behavioral traits because they were written by men. This is exclusive to the anglosphere because Japan and other places have people who can write anybody with any traits and have it be miraculously good. This does not mean there were no women writers who didnt write badass women, Ann Nocenti is the only one who comes to mind but Im sure there are more but the badass women we know and love were written by men. Ripley especially, was written for a male character who was changed during casting. This probably makes a lot of modern women writers in the anglosphere despise badass women as a trope because they can see the male aspects of them and know theyre written by men, so they want to purposefully defile those characters (Captain Marvel) or erase them entirely. When presented with their version of "badassery" the audience feels very bereft because modern "empowered women" are not heroic characters, theyre powerful but not heroic, theyre relatable but not empowering and are more often short sighted or self interested. Therefore its not illiteracy on the part of these activists, its probably closer to ignorant rage, like a child who screams with ears plugged in *insert solzhenitsyn quote*.

Shes 100% very salty.
