The funniest and most horrifying thing that has entertained me this presidential election arc is the Democrats wheeling around what is basically the corpse of a 100 year old Jimmy Carter in desperate attempts to recruit voters.
Kamala is such a bad candidate that the dems have to even shore up support among The Voting Dead, long-held to be an unshakable bloc for them

how much PrEP do you want to bet this tatted-up faggy LA actor has taken in his life
Alright let's do the PEMDAS (Penis Enjoy Might Die, And Soon) order of operations here. Don't worry, I'm an expert.

Lives in LA, so probably doesn't use protection, probably goes to monkeypox piss orgies.

Professional Wrestler, sad to say it but it is quite the homosexual artform (but one with a rich and VERY respectable history.)

Hollywood Actor, that's not a good sign. Not a good sign at all. Very dire for him, very dire.

Gonna say his blood content is 70% PrEP. Trust my science, it's infallible. Honk honk!
so I think we know where the next interview she does should take place..... that's right folks she'll feel right at home at the INTERNATIONALLY INFAMOUS KIIIIIIIIILSTREAM!!!!
Unironically, I think that if the country's politics transitioned back into fights to near death and calling people retards while signing bills, we'd heal as a nation.

In addition to still images of faked people, the document notes that “the solution should include facial & background imagery, facial & background video, and audio layers,” and JSOC hopes to be able to generate “selfie video” from these fabricated humans. These videos will feature more than fake people: Each deepfake selfie will come with a matching faked background, “to create a virtual environment undetectable by social media algorithms.”"
Truly a weapon to surpass FPV drones Metal Gear.

They aren't the only ones to release a "final" weeks out from the election. Baris has been suggesting that these early "finals" are an attempt to hedge their credibility against a Trump win. If Trump wins, they'll be able to say they were still directionally right, they caught the trend, and they were technically correct since they were a snapshot of the race weeks before Election Day. If Kamala wins, it will likely be by a thin margin and thus within the margin of error.

Personally, I don't care as much about this in principle as I do about non-gov jobs. The reason I say this is that is because the practice of providing education assistance is common place across the government as well as the military, with the theory being if you want more qualified people, you should invest in the people you already have. Now in practice, it's probably a mistake with just how inflated the current government is as well as the absolutely retarded shit they are hiring people to do.

Sadly outside of the govt worker spending, the main issue is that the only people that benefit from this are those who would be fine without it, those who were too incompetent to plan effectively, and those who made a concious decision to get a degree that isn't actually going to provide any benefit to the market and are probably likely to go back and do the same shit all over.

Seeing a lot of points about black men moving to Trump. Even if this is true, it doesn’t help the way you think it does. ‘The betting markets have Trump at 60%!’ Betting markets aren’t polls retard, and can swing wildly. Remember the betting markets had Trump up in 2020 on election day. Yes, some bad press has hurt Kamala in the betting markets, but we’re not seeing this translate to actual votes.

We have a situation where women of all colors are flocking to Kamala in droves. And this is where things get interesting. A lot of these women have never voted before. Because of Roe v. Wade getting deleted, women who otherwise didn’t vote or gave their husband/babydaddy the ballot to fill out are now paying attention, and they now have someone who looks like them for the first time on the ballot.

Meanwhile, black men are checking out. Most of them won’t vote at all. Yes, there is an enthusiastic group voting for Trump, but it’s still the minority. Kamala doesn’t need black men because she’s winning all the black women while most of the men are going to sit this one out.

Meanwhile, Trump still has a big problem with white voters, particularly elderly voters. These voters liked Biden and see Harris as a worthy successor, and these citizens always vote. They are guaranteed dem votes.

I think it’s possible that Trump wins Pennsylvania this year, but he can’t with a leaky Georgia, and all those new enthusiastic woman voters are going to surprise everyone.

Tucker's pet pollster says things are not as rosy for Trump as people seem to think. He's not saying Harris is going to have a landslide but that she still stands a very good chance to win 4 of the 7 swing states and thus the Presidency.

It's his opinion that the sheer amount of money the Harris campaign has access to may have a major deciding factor. Harris apparently blew 300 million on TV ads for PA alone and is out spending Trump 10 to 1. This means more local offices, more door knockers and more get out and vote operations. The strange thing is that most of Harris's money comes from small donors and not the big rich democrats according to him.

She's raised almost 500 million from grass roots donors which may suggest a lot more support for her then polls predict. 500 million from average Joe and Jane's is a lot of support that may be unaccounted for by pretty much all the poll models.

Tucker looked slightly perturbed by this, I think he figured this was in the bag for Trump

Concerning news if true. I guess one should never underestimate the enemy no matter what. It's a good reminder not to relax.

A bit late to the party on this but there are parts of the country where tap water is not safe to drink. Not just high profile urban centers with lead pipes like Flint, but large swaths of the rural South and Appalachia where the plumbing infrastructure has been totally neglected or just plain doesn't exist. So yes, bottled water can and should be SNAP eligible. It's easy to forget just how deep poverty in America goes.
I didn't say bottled or gallons of water shouldn't be covered. But it wasn't basic bottled water. It was some name-brand fancy sparkling water. The damn case was almost $40.

A couple of people have responded to my post like I want to end EBT or SNAP. I don't. I want people who are struggling to have access to healthy food and clean water. It can be a life-saver for many families, like another user already shared. My issue is the people who abuse the program, which seems to be the issue most people have with it. Someone else compared it to foster care and CPS. Does the system suck? Yes. Does it need to exist? Yes.

Here's another idea I came across, which seemed to help. The program was basically giving SNAP recipients discounts and coupons on actual healthy food, and yeah, they bought more healthy food. The end of the article states:

"In January [of 2023], the USDA announced a $25 million investment for three states to run an incentive program for SNAP participants in their states. It encourages recipients to purchase healthy foods by providing a coupon, discount, gift card, bonus food items, or extra funds when they purchase specific foods like fruits and vegetables.

This program has been done before. The USDA says research shows SNAP participants who received incentives consumed 26% more fruits and vegetables per day than nonparticipants."

Maybe just incentivize people to go for healthier options, and that could solve some of the issues with the program.

So what if the Kamala interview was a hit piece? How many hit piece interviews has Trump walked into since 2015?
Because the key to winning presidential elections is to appear like the better option to idiots, who are shallow, easily-cowed and a vast majority of voters. This is a stark contrast to local elections, where people tend to care more about what policies or changes happen to the literal place they live in.

Do you have any idea how many people voted for Obama solely because they wanted to "end racism" and elect the first nigger into the oval office? Nobody paying attention denies Kamala is totally worthless as a politician, but you're still combating the mindless hordes who want to "be a part of history" and elect the first lady president. The hit pieces on Trump are excused because everyone is doing them. When everyone is doing something, that convinces idiots (the voters) it's good and correct.

This means more local offices, more door knockers and more get out and vote operations.
It certainly appears like this theoretical possibility has not manifested in reality. Wasn’t it only a couple days ago showing that Republican voter registrations in PA were bigly outpacing the Democrats nearly 2:1?
