It's an enhanced port from the Switch/PC conversion.I hope it's just a port and not another shitty remaster that looks and performs worse.
In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.
There’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.
I just tried playing RDR2 again last week, and I ALWAYS turn off the auto-aim shit in every Rockstar game. It's probably why I don't play Rockstar games in multiplayer since they all have it by default - it's just not fun to me.I forgot how badly this game sucks in terms of gameplay, on top of the overly realistic sluggish movement you have auto-aim making the game far too easy to be satisfying
RDO2 actually has free aim lobbies if you have both controller and mouse aim assist turned all the way off, you also get a shitload more xp for free aim killsI just tried playing RDR2 again last week, and I ALWAYS turn off the auto-aim shit in every Rockstar game. To be honest, I do my best not to use the Dead Eye either, except for things like needing to spontaneously shoot 4 birds in a contest against Wile E. Wetback.
Are they actually populated? I remember playing in RDR1's hardcore lobbies, but fhere were generally more tumbleweeds than players.RDO2 actually has free aim lobbies if you have both controller and mouse aim assist turned all the way off, you also get a shitload more xp for free aim kills
Been getting pretty full lobbies just in free roam but havent tried matchmaking for stuff with other playersAre they actually populated? I remember playing in RDR1's hardcore lobbies, but fhere were generally more tumbleweeds than players.
To be fair though. I once saw a Whitelight video(a faggot but he made a decent point here) where he shows that because of the lock on you can do lots of fun stuff like running and gunning, getting into melee, just a lot of mechanics in general I didn't really know about. This is all stuff I never encountered because as a PC player I just sit behind a chest high wall and click on heads which actually made the game a lot more boring than it could have been. So while on the surface it might seem that lock on mode is just a more boring version of standard shooting it actually does potentially open up some other gameplay options.I just tried playing RDR2 again last week, and I ALWAYS turn off the auto-aim shit in every Rockstar game. Hardcore modes disable auto-aim and tonics while having everybody's health and stamina preset. Honestly, all PvP multiplayer in RDO SHOULD disable auto-aim by default. It makes matches lopsided from newer players versus experienced/higher-level players.I just tried playing RDR2 again last week, and I ALWAYS turn off the auto-aim shit in every Rockstar game. Kinda funny then that Dutch, despite being so "caring" about the plight of the poor Injuns, later uses them to do his bidding and gets a bunch of them killed. Honestly one could draw comparisons to the people in the modern day who virtue signal about shit all the time but never actually do anything about it or attempt to make the situation better, or as they do in many cases, make the situation far worse. Not to mention almost nobody in that time period would have argued with anyone claiming some tribes were savages, because most men of that period [especially men who were quick with a gun] would have encountered hostile tribes from time to time. Most men of that age during that time would have seen at least some of what the hostile tribes had done, scalping entire villages, clubbing all the children to death and doing a damned fine job of killing other tribes.Still on my second playthrough of red dead 2. I had completely forgotten about this part in the swamp right before they leave for Tahiti where Dutch hears Bill call the Indians he fought while in the military savages and he goes on a triggered rant about "Actually the REAL savages are inbred whites and European immigrants!" like my god man shut the fuck up. I don't remember the writing being this heavy handed with the social justice shit.

Remember the devs live on an alternate history where all Indian tribes were peaceful and highly respecting of women and trannies.Kinda funny then that Dutch, despite being so "caring" about the plight of the poor Injuns, later uses them to do his bidding and gets a bunch of them killed. One of my biggest issues with RDR2 Dutch is he does not at all act or feel like someone living in 1899. His views on Natives, blacks, gender all are anachronistic. The man was born in 1855 and has similar views to a liberal from the 2000s. I get it, it's a video game not everything has to be super historically accurate but so much detail is put into making things look like they are from that time but then you just have this guy who feels totally out of place.Kinda funny then that Dutch, despite being so "caring" about the plight of the poor Injuns, later uses them to do his bidding and gets a bunch of them killed. For the love of fuck, this has been explained multiple times. It's because he's a fucking narcissistic cult leader who doesn't care what race, gender, sexuality, etc. someone is so long as he can use them. That's it, and it's not anachronistic at all.One of my biggest issues with RDR2 Dutch is he does not at all act or feel like someone living in 1899. I swear to God, half the people in this thread are actually fucking retarded."no you dont understand, he was born in the 1850s. he should be extremely racist and sexist like all people in the 1800s were"
Yeah I'm sorry but the example I gave and provided a clip for where Dutch goes on a rant about how it's "Inbred whites who's the real savage!" only pissed off other people in the gang. He wasn't getting anything out of it or saying it to get what he wanted. It was the writers putting their own beliefs into the game through Dutch. As for "foids" I said nothing about them. For the love of fuck, this has been explained multiple times. Hell, on more than one occasion, he's used people's race specifically to get them to do what he wants, so this constant whining about him, and the gang being nice to niggers, and foids is even stupider.
Here's a fucking hint: Dutch is a liar. He'll say whatever he has to in order to get his what he wants, and if that means going "whitey bad" to some rando darkie then he's going to do it.
The guy whose boat they're in, and is driving it is black. Also, the scene you posted is the one where he randomly gets into an argument with Bill, one of the guys in the gang who is explicitly racist. He only brought it up because Bill did it first, and played it up to help increase favor with the boat's owner.Yeah I'm sorry but the example I gave and provided a clip for where Dutch goes on a rant about how it's "Inbred whites who's the real savage!" only pissed off other people in the gang. Alright, alright you make a good point. You didn't have to get so heated in your lost post though. The guy whose boat they're in, and is driving it is black. Listen, Dutch is an asshole cult leader who just spouts bullshit, and doesn't actually know, or believe in anything. That's kinda his thing. The only times where that's not the case is at the ending of both games. Outside of those moments, you shouldn't put any stock into anything he actually says.
