In 2008 I had a "$Red State Democrat" sticker on my car. In early 2009 I was the only one in the post office lobby. Some redneck walked in and asked "is that your car," which obviously it was. He then said "thanks for voting in communism," very sarcastically.

I'm glad I was on my way out of the lobby at the time, because I'm a disabled female alone with an angry man. I didn’t feel unsafe, but I was definitely uncomfortable.

That was before the violent rhetoric really started to play out. In 2020 Trump supporters swarmed a Harris/Biden bus on the freeway and tried to run them off the road, it was caught on video from other cars on the road. I don't block mutuals for political reasons easily, everyone is entitled to their opinions. But I had people posting the video of that incident and questioning if it was real/staged or if the bus instigated the attack. I don't regret blocking them, because if the trucks had succeeded who knows what they would have done to the people in the bus.

Here a couple towns north of me in 2020 I saw an obnoxious Trump truck parade going down main street honking their horns. I haven't seen any flags on trucks this cycle, but the fear of violence is real. I would never have a Democrat bumper sticker on my car anymore. I don't put out signs. I don't wear political clothes, political clothes is cow behavior, but we should be able to express our opinions if we want to. Words may not be violence, but you never know if words will be proceed violence or not.

I don't see many signs on either side this year, there were quite a few for city elections during the early months of the year, but no one appears to be comfortable putting out signs for president.

I'm hearing there's been massive early voting turnouts in Georgia and I think North Carolina already. It's going to be interesting to watch the results come in.

If something goes his way, it's because he's universally beloved and if something goes against him, it's because the elites are trying to keep him down and people respond with violence. Trump won’t ALLOW Vance to succeed without him. If Trump is still alive in 2028 and Vance is on the ticket, he will do everything in his power to torpedo it.

I think Vance has two viable options if Trump loses: revert back to being anti-Trump or resign at the end of his term and work directly for Peter Thiel or for another firm who owes Thiel a favor. That’s generally how that shit works. There’s always exceptions but there’s nothing that endears Ohio to Vance like Utah and Mitt Romney, for example.

Interesting takeaway from my post. I don't want Trump to win. I despise people that don't believe that the Democratic Party is the only party that should ever hold power in this America, and I believe literally everything the news reports. Plus I agree with every negative thing you all say about him.

And goddamn could you not be more wrong about me liking McConnell, Graham, or Cruz. Also wildly odd you'd think there's anything sexual about all of this.
