I don't see how Tucker being a rich kid who lived in DC and NYC and wanted 30 years ago to be in the CIA means it's completely impossible for him to change.

Having watched him over the past few years he seems pretty sincere in his beliefs, tries to walk the walk personally, and is genuine in his religious beliefs--though that's for God to judge.

He also spends a lot of time giving voice to anti-globohomo, anti corporate, anti-Neocon warmonger voices. If he's secretly controlled opposition working for the left and the corporate/military industrial complex, at what point does it no longer matter?

I remember when I was a kid arguing with my friend's religious mother who hated the heavy metal we listened to. I pointed out that bands like Maiden, Metallica, Anthrax and Megadeth had anti-war songs, anti-Nazi songs, songs against hate and discrimination, and her argument was literally "oh, that's just Satan trying to trick you into thinking they're good." Same energy.

Also besides Lenin, Julius Caesar was an aristocrat who turned against his class to champion the poor masses and soldiers. Was it all a trick to get himself power? Maybe. But for the poor he supported and the Optimates who were against him, the distinction wouldn't matter so much as the results of him winning.

+2 and +3 national vote is a blowout for Trump....electorate moving to trump even 1% from 2020 is a electoral victory for Trump.

But it looks like electorate has moved something like +6 to trump favor....

Minnesota and Virginia are now in play...

Insurgents are not going to do a lot against an armored division, but conversely an armored division is not great at counter-insurgency operations. Doctor Love would probably insist that armored trains are the best solution to insurgents, though, because the autism is strong in him.

Tucker is good at arguing the MAGA position and works as an effective mouthpiece. I don't think he has the patience or aptitude for elective politics. It's really hard to think of who can be the next standard bearer, since the qualifications are so specific. I'd wager the next guy needs consistent positions going back over a decade, so people know that they're not just following a trend as a means to power, like DeSantis. Needs charisma or a compelling story to capture the public imagination. Needs to appeal to a slightly different group than Trump does, in order to grow the movement, while still not alienating the current crop.

This limits the possible candidates to basically no one I can think of, lol.

I'm not talking hypothetically. He actually thinks there are multiple incidents of Afghans surrounding US divisions and wiping them out. As a matter of historical fact, in 20 years of war, no such incident ever occurred; there is not a single ground engagement in the entire war where Afghans wiped out so much as a single infantry platoon--the closest you get is the one time they shot down a helicopter with 22 SEALs on board. He also thinks the Russian aircraft industry has an international reputation for producing the highest quality airplanes in the world, that the Taiwanese long to be ruled by the PRC and are only being prevented from this by America, North Koreans aren't malnourished, and so on.

My point is, the guy is a total nutcase who, on every single matter I've ever seen him engage, believes the exact opposite of reality, so arguing with him is just an exercise in insanity.
