Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL DEBATE THREAD.

Using your bubble analogy, the issue is; the people living outside the bubble hate those living within the bubble anyways and work against their best interests while those within the bubble help provide infrastructure, government funding and even in some cases electricity and water to those outside the bubble.
Yeah man, I'm not trying to start a political debate because this thread is about how Donald Trump is a lolcow. I'm just saying that I've lived in multiple cities around the world, an academic hub, and a few random suburbs. I can say from experience that living in a major metro is more insular than living in a college town in the middle of nowhere.

I have no idea what people from Bumfuck, Indiana think about anything, nor do I care. It's like, "cool story bro, your household income is less than 6 figures, let's hear about how you'd manage a 15-figure economy." It's just completely irrelevant because they depend on the government for goyslop corn subsidies and my people have been eating parsnips without issue for the last 400 years.

I'm legitimately glad to not live in a swing state and be subject to relentless political propaganda, though it's disheartening to know that some moron in Arizona or some other irrelevant shithole effectively decides who my president is.
Your vote matters.

If you live in Swing States.

If you don't vote local and hope things change.

I voted early today. I normally do vote by mail, but I decided to switch back to in-person voting to people watch, and it was interesting. I was in front of three old ladies and I could hear all of their conversation:
  • One of them, the leader, talked for an hour and a half straight. Hardly two brain cells to rub together -- the very epitome of the low-education, apolitical female voter who only votes the way her husband tells her to. Husband, however, is fucking dead, so she has now developed her own opinions.
  • She said she watches every single Trump rally. The teevee told her to vote early because the Democrats threw out hundreds of thousands of votes in the last election and that is why Trump "lost." Teevee (Newsmax?) also told her to vote in person because the Democrats throw out votes by mail. Thousands and thousands of boxes! The two other stooges agreed with her and at least one had "read" the same thing in some article somewhere.
  • She loved the McDonald's stunt; thought it was great, so funny!
  • All three agreed that Trump will save us from living in a third-world country.
  • All three were very inconvenienced about having to wait in line. In their day, you just popped in and out! (You still do, on Election Day.) However, teevee and Daddy Trump asked them to do their part, so they did!
It was like grandma read /pol/ and Twitter. The same talking points -- it was crazy. But, clearly the Big Lie that Trump actually won in 2020 is still holding water, and the increased early voting turnout amongst registered Republicans is likely due to this, too. If Biden won, if Kamala wins, it's fraud, and not because people fucking hate Trump.
Considering 2020, I have to consider the curve MAGA brought up was a result of early and mail in votings done earlier than the actual Election Day votes. Gotta wonder if the same thing will happen again.

Still wouldn’t explain all the shit that was caught on security cameras. And was the cars at 3 am just more in person votes from polling stations?

It absolutely was. Since 2016, the Democrats have developed a serious ground game, and it accomplished great things in 2020. People who lived in remote places, such as Native American reservations in Arizona and New Mexico, were able to vote by mail for the first time ever. These people literally don’t have addresses and many are poor and/or elderly, but they were still able to vote thanks to assistance from advocates who often traveled through difficult desert terrain to get them their ballots. (Of course, some people may view this as fraud, but the advocates didn’t care who the people on the reservation voted for, only that they voted.) Some credit this with why Biden won the state of Arizona by a slim margin. The Democratic Party communicates with their voters and lets them know about early voting sites, encouraging them to vote early. What this causes is a huge bank of Democratic vote that is cast well in advance of Election Day.

This brings me to my next point. Each state has its own individual election laws, and each county in each state holds its own elections. Some counties are very sharp and on top of things, while others struggle with logistics. Just because a county sucks at logistics - particularly a large, populous county in an urban center - does not mean that there is fraud going on. Some states actually have retarded election laws, such as the law in Pennsylvania that forbids counting of mail-in ballots until Election Day. This law meant that Philadelphia was stuck with hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of ballots that they legally couldn’t count, which is why it took them six days to call the state for Biden. These kinds of garbage laws are passed on purpose by Republicans who are obsessed with trying to stop minorities from voting instead of appealing to them.

Meanwhile, the whole election fraud story started because Trump got asshurt that someone at the Fox News election desk called the state of Arizona for Biden on the first night — which the guy at the news desk was actually right about. It got him and his whole team fired after Trump blew a fuse on Twitter. Now, no one is going to call shit on the first night because they all don’t want to make Trump rage, which means we will probably have to endure another weeklong count while the cultists threaten civil war if daddy doesn’t win.

T-minus two weeks, my friends.

In a way, it feels like perhaps (god willing) the final climax of the Trump era in US politics. If he loses by a lot (again), he's done. They claim half the country supports him, but I don't buy it.

We'll also see if the last cycle was the peak of tard rage. Hopefully, it was, but these people are foaming at the mouth to sperg all over everyone's T&A.

Either way, I'm optimistic. I'll gladly eat these words in a month, but I don't see it happening in my (swing) state.

Last two weeks and he's praising communist dictators because they are strong and said mean things about Obama

Yeah, remember that fatty told his cult to NOT vote early in 2020. Some states, lead by Republican majority, made it illegal for them to count votes before polls closed on election day (such as Pennsylvania). Since fatty told his cult to not vote early and the larger cities (where people vote mostly Democrat by a huge margin) would have a huge backlog, it made it look like that because in a city with 500k votes, when 80% go to one candidate, that's going to be a huge bump as they get counted.

This year he was fine with his cult voting early and told them to do it. No idea why he had a change of heart when he claims there was fraud in 2020.

They're putting up fences around the capital building between Jan 5th and the 21st. I'm hearing rumors of the judges and doj that have been dealing with the j6 retards expect similar responses if Trump loses.

A couple states confirmed today they won't have results on the 5th and the response from maga was "they're going to steal it again." These tards really believe the big lie and even throwing Trump in prison for his role in it - which he richly deserves - won't convince them otherwise.

Even if he dies of old age, which I hope he does - and soon (I don't fedpost, but I won't exactly cry any tears over it), he's going to be a martyr in MAGA eyes.

This week, I asked Kelly about their exchange. He told me that when Trump raised the subject of “German generals,” Kelly responded by asking, “‘Do you mean Bismarck’s generals?’” He went on: “I mean, I knew he didn’t know who Bismarck was, or about the Franco-Prussian War. I said, ‘Do you mean the kaiser’s generals? Surely you can’t mean Hitler’s generals? And he said, ‘Yeah, yeah, Hitler’s generals.’ I explained to him that Rommel had to commit suicide after taking part in a plot against Hitler.” Kelly told me Trump was not acquainted with Rommel.

Hopefully, all or most (800+ and counting) of the real crazy ones got locked up because of this dumbfuckery last time. These people are dumb, but I'd like to believe most who simply vote for him aren't also willing to publicly wage some shit when the consequences of doing so are well-known and documented by this point.

This reminds me... when's his sentencing? Surely he's sentenced before the winner is called. I think it's even in November sometime.

Ugh, I need to start watching the actual news again to watch this sperging unfold. You folk are beautiful and wonderfully on the pulse of the fat man's actions, but gosh it'll be a nationwide discussion. (finally, we talk about one singular thing for longer than two milliseconds)

You beat me to this reply and I agree. Supporting Trump became the primary identity for millions of Americans for the last 8 years. Which is also why any attempt at showing a Trump supporter just how bad Trump is will fail. They take everything as a direct attack on themselves and their own identity.

Many of the same people who talk about Americans being "sheep" or "cattle" are the very consumers who purchase everything their cult leader directs them to.

Flags? Better fly them high and proud. Buy multiple and keep one on the lifted truck, one on the house, and one in the yard. Political yard signs? Fill the yard. Shirts? Better wear them in public so everyone can see how much you hate libs and love guns and "freedom." Hats? Obviously, that's a staple in every outfit.

Side note, the "fuck your feelings" part of the Trump 2024 flag is extremely ironic. Trump whines and cries every time his wittle feefees get hurt and it is always hilarious.
How many of these things are made in China?

How many of these things are made in China?
Surprisingly, not all of them were. Some are also made in Honduras lol. I would go so far as to say almost none of the Trump related products are made in the US. That isn't something his supporters actually care about, or they wouldn't buy the cheap garbage novelty items from Amazon. They would encourage Trump to manufacture his own products in the US if it mattered, but it doesn't so they don't.

Shirts: There was no information for multiple shirts. These are 2 other popular ones.

New reason to dislike Trump just dropped:
Rollingstone - Trump Was Enraged by Funeral Cost for ‘F–king Mexican’ U.S. Soldier: Report
Article / Archive
Guillén was 20 years old when she was murdered in 2020 by a fellow soldier in Fort Hood, Texas. The high-profile case triggered a slew of investigations into allegations of sexual harassment and the mistreatment of enlisted women at the Army base. Guillén was the daughter of Mexican immigrants, but was born in Houston and thus an American citizen. Her parents were invited to the White House for a televised meeting with Trump, who promised that he would help “financially” with the funeral. Given the attention surrounding her murder, a public memorial service was held for Guillén, followed by a smaller burial attended by members of Houston’s city government.
When informed that the total costs amounted to $60,000, Trump was incensed. “It doesn’t cost 60,000 bucks to bury a fucking Mexican!” he reportedly told his then Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. “Don’t pay it!”
An attorney for Guillén’s family told The Atlantic that while a bill was sent to the White House, no reimbursement was ever received. Portions of the burial costs were instead covered by donations and the Army.
Active duty personnel, reservists, and veterans, Trump doesn't want to pay for your burials. You aren't worth the price to bury your dead body. Great Commander in Chief. Really cares about the military.

Also, a little history lesson for the Hitler lovers:
In 2022, former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly wrote in his memoir that Trump openly fantasized about having generals who were as loyal to him as “the German generals in World War II.”
When Kelly attempted to remind Trump that the Nazi dictator’s highest-ranking officials “tried to kill Hitler three times and almost pulled it off,” Trump responded that “no, no, no, they were totally loyal to him.”
Imagine not knowing the history of the dictator you idolize. Sounds very familiar, but who ignores reality in favor of their delusions?

I disagree about the Florida bit.

Tampa is a major port, Cape Canavaral is big for the fact that it's where most of the Space shit is launched from, Orlando has Disney in it + the largest airport in the US. It generates a GDP of $1.647 Trillion and is the 4th largest economy in the US. I wouldn't put it side by side with those other shitbird states.

Port of Miami is a yuge national point of entry for goods and departure home for export shipping lanes all over the Atlantic ocean as well. New York slow bleeds census count seats every decade in the House of Representatives to Florida, essentially, too. (California is shrinking like this also, but I suspect they bleed those seats to Texas rather than Florida, mostly.)

Since the thread is bringing it up, there is a legit chance that 2024 is the final election where the state popular vote compact is still under the 270 electoral college signatory state members nation-wide to take effect, which would grant the signers' electoral college votes to the popular vote winner nationally, making this the final potential popular vote loser candidate to have any chance of being elected to the office Trump's seeking again.

I know he has claimed, I don't believe it, that he won't run again in 2028 no matter the outcome of this election, but maybe even he sees the writing on the wall there and is preemptively waving the white flag on trying to actually win California next presidential election cycle?
