Yeah man, I'm not trying to start a political debate because this thread is about how Donald Trump is a lolcow. I'm just saying that I've lived in multiple cities around the world, an academic hub, and a few random suburbs. I can say from experience that living in a major metro is more insular than living in a college town in the middle of nowhere.Using your bubble analogy, the issue is; the people living outside the bubble hate those living within the bubble anyways and work against their best interests while those within the bubble help provide infrastructure, government funding and even in some cases electricity and water to those outside the bubble.
I have no idea what people from Bumfuck, Indiana think about anything, nor do I care. It's like, "cool story bro, your household income is less than 6 figures, let's hear about how you'd manage a 15-figure economy." It's just completely irrelevant because they depend on the government for goyslop corn subsidies and my people have been eating parsnips without issue for the last 400 years.
