Trickle-down economics isn't even a real idea. It's a term coined by the left as an attack against capitalism. There have been numerous more thorough explanations as to why it isn't a real thing, but the following example illustrates the idea quite well:

Suppose you wanted to start a new business. With either your own money or a loan you pay workers to construct a building. You purchase equipment for your business from other companies who manufacture it. You hire laborers to operate the machinery to produce the goods your business will sell. Suppose that your business fails. Who is out the money? The workers who constructed the building were paid, as were the companies you purchased equipment from, and the laborers who operated it. The only person who is out money is you. Wealth does not trickle down, but rather flows upwards in the form of profits generated from a successful investment in some enterprise.

Like most things dreamt up by the left, it's backwards from reality.

I'm paraphrasing, but women have been reinforced with the idea that having a child at the wrong time is a terrible thing. If they get pregnant it will ruin their lives. It's a big fear and having the ability to have an abortion calms that down.

Isn’t Trump’s plan trickle down 2.0?

No. His policies were far more neoliberal. The goal was to stimulate job growth by easing taxes on lower earners. In fact, something like 75% of individual-level tax cuts went to people earning less than $500k per annum. Trump's tax cuts did not affect overall tax burden on top earners. The whole point of trickle-down economics (AKA supply-side economics) is to stimulate the supply side of the economy by reducing the tax burden on the wealthy who, in this model, are assumed to then invest the money.

That's why the Demcorats want to get rid of his tax cuts: they reduced taxes for regular people (less money for them to spend) while not penalizing rich people for being rich (and also less money for them to spend).

Bullshit. Supply-Side wasn't a bad idea. The Laffer curve is one of the most non-voodoo economics theories ever.

I'll go ahead and admit I was using strong language. Modern monetary theory is way dumber and Biden's administration pursued it, so supply-side is not the worst.

In my opinion, both supply-side and Keynesians are a little retarded. Keynesians think that the government should use its bullshit money printer for public spending and that taxes magically create economic growth. Supply-side economists think that the government should use its bullshit money printer to give more money to businesses while the government taxes them less. I ask: why does our economy hinge on who's in control of the money printer, and oh God why is the money printer running so fucking much that it's on fire?

Prior to the Reagan tax reform, you were better off with perks instead of salary, and starting a business was a suckers game with how bad taxes raped you if you had the misfortune to do halfway decently.

Reagan's policies were great because of deregulation. Where I agree with a lot of supply-side economists is deregulation.
