Someone quite recently posted yet another documentary about Adam which heavily featured interview segments with Big Al, one of which includes him recounting the full story of Adam's dad's funeral (spoiler: Chibi connected his laptop to the projector and played an anime AMV).

I tried searching YouTube but 'chibi' isn't the easiest term; does anyone know the video I'm talking about? The narrator used gameplay footage of a Total Wipeout knock-off for the sections that weren't showing Chibi.
Was it this one?

If he did even half the bitching he does about AT&T in whatever Japanese company he works for they'd shove him in a disciplinary room, a room designed specifcally to psychologically torture staff to make them quit so they don't have to fire them.
I heard of a guy that they did this to. One of those guys working in a company that had "life long employment" meaning you started there and ended there when you retired. He wasn't pulling his weight but he was finishing his duties and they couldn't fire him because he wasn't doing anything wrong so they gave him a new job.

They took him to one of these rooms where there were gauges and was told he needed to record the numbers they showed, fill out the forms and do this every fifteen minutes. The problem is it was really boring and due to how it was set up the process would take 20 minutes to complete. So he was always running behind, making mistakes and finally one day he just didn't show up for work so they fired him on the spot.

Chibi would be lucky to last a day in a company like that.

Yeah I also know that guy. I heard he died by putting a pencil up his nose, then he fell asleep at his desk and it went right up into his brain.

Gold star for you. That one actually came up in my results but I ignored it because I didn't recognise the username.

It's actually a pretty great video if anyone else fancies watching it. The Big Al sections are the wrong kind of cringe but aside from that it's one of the better Chibi docs out there, even though he barely scratches the surface of his lore (I don't think any of the catfish sagas are included after the phone call to Mrs Chibi, for example).

Read: You scammed a miserable granny who hardly makes ends meet with their meager retirement funds into signing 3 un-cancallable subscription services they can't receive with their hardware and that will bleed their accounts dry like every ladies under panties when they smell you miles against the wind.

A fact that I'm sure Cheebs is fully aware of owing to his superior Nippon-based knowledge. He's been to Japan, don't you know?
That's the annoying part about him, he prides himself on how knowledgeable he is about Japan when he neglects something pretty vital that most people will know just from looking into it for more than a second.

That's just weebs in general tbh, and part of why they're so insufferable. They think Japan is a perfect utopia with no problems and they will welcome huwaitu piggus with open arms and force them to breed with their nubile daughters, one after the other.

This is why we all so desperately want Chibi's living in Japan arc to happen. Personally, I'd be most interested to see how long it'd take him to admit he'd made a huge mistake.

@Oliver Onions have you seen Audentum's Chibi docs he goes deep into the lore of Chibi. I even believe it had the Big Al confrontation in it.
I checked his video out and saw he was a PNG-tuber so immediately lost interest. I might stick it on as background noise some time since you recommended it.

ETA: The video in question.

He's also a Jim fanboy who seriously calls him "Daddy Jim," and he shills some "Lolcow Card Game" slop. But that video's worth suffering through his cringe for.

He doesn't add a lot of commentary, he does play a lot of clips especially Big Al's and metokur's stories. It goes way more in depth than the video that you watched.

Oh no, chibi's workplace rights are being 'violated', what will he ever do now? *sigh*

Something tells me there is more to this story. Normally when companies tell you something like that it's so you don't use it as an excuse to fuck off work early. Oh no I "forgot" my lunch break I'll just leave an hour early to make up the time.

Or like some of us in the real world we work through our lunch because shit is happening and it's all hands on deck. You do your stuff as you eat your sandwich.

Half the time I eat at my desk anyway because I have shit to do.

Yeah sounds more like that.

Yeah, I get shitty when I have to work through my lunch break, but some jobs don't even give you a meal break, nigga grow up.

Also your a salesman, drive thru, eat in your car. Easy solution, retard.
I'd also say this is one of those times where you have to decide how important this is to you (including if this is a once in a while thing or an all the time thing etc) and how much you want to "stand out" to management. In other words, before you go all Cesar Chavez on this, make sure that's what you really want to do and understand the risks. But...that would mean taking responsibility for making decisions like an adult so...

  • Agree
Reactions: suspended animation
Doesn't Japan have a major high suicide rate with their "work nonstop for 10+ hours a day" mentality? Chibi's gonna be missing alot of lunches in Japan compared to his current job

Lunch breaks aren't guaranteed under law since that's not considered work time. The law is that you are paid according to hours worked which includes two 15 minute breaks.

It may be against Michigan State law, it may violate the union contract but it isn't against Federal law. If he's salaried at 70k instead of hourly than he's likely an exempt employee and has even less of a case. He's already being paid to have lunch. It's not the company's responsibility to make sure Adam ate.
