I honestly don't know if Sanders would have won, but the manner in which they fucked him has permanently damaged the party. To be fair, I don't think that's true. CSM estimates put illegal again workers around 380k (source) and there's approximately 54k baristas in CA.

I nod along not to agree, but to keep them talking so that I can better understand their motivations, observe their movements, and gauge their actual strength. Cataloging it in my mind like an intelligence report puts enough mental distance that I can wade through the bullshit without having to absorb it. And even though there isn't a conquering army for me to deliver the report to, I end up with a more accurate picture of reality to make my own plans.

I’d recommend just saying: “I really don’t care about politics”.
