I probably shouldn't give potential murders any tips, but I will say: dismembering a body is actually a really fucking stupid idea and makes it easier for you to get caught. All the authorities need to convict you is a piece of the body, and when you rip it apart and split it up it only gives them 100 extra locations to find convicting evidence instead of just one. You're spraying fucking DNA everywhere and if you go to court, you look like a monster and you're more likely to get the maximum penalty.

October 10, 2024, Charlottetown, PEI - Élora Patoine was reported missing in late September 2023 and was last seen in Moncton on June 19 2023. This investigation started with a call from a concerned citizen and the PEI RCMP Major Crime Unit has been investigating ever since.

I went to a number of different missing persons profiles across Canada and seems like the majority of them aren't investigated by the Major Crime Unit, or at least they don't say as much.

For PEI specifically, in 2023 there was a missing persons case for a teenager that was turned over to the Major Crimes Unit rather than just being dealt with by local police.

I haven't watched the Casino yet but here's my little summury observations regarding the meltdown/phone stream:

Jfg claims he is being victimized by left wingers because it's the election and he is a right winger, if you think this is cringe and fake then you are right, he also used a similar argument to defend against the dissappearance of his potato woman.

He actually revealed the truth by saying that this victimization is orchestrated by people in his family, so it's probably the potato's family and perhaps police putting pressure on him.

Just to summarize Jfg is so delusional that he thinks he is being gangstalked by the left because of his 80 viewer right wing podcast, the left uses his wifes family and police to victimize him in his own mind.

Another observation is that Jfg was probably living off his car at the time of the livestreams, he made comments of rain drops on his windows, and he said he was outside.

Jfg brought up police and the fact they know where is and that he always answers their phone calls, he did so unprompted before he learns how to read chat on Twitter spaces.

Jfg used plural to describe his current predicament, maybe he has other people with him, its also likely he was just referring to his community.

Yeah, for most killers, that's not really a smart thing to do. A body weighs anywhere from 60-80kg. Mama JF was pretty fat, so I'd say she weighs on the upper bound of maybe 70-80. The thing working in JFG's favour is that he has experience with dismembering animals, he knows what he's doing. I don't think he went that route but the act of spraying everything down was still mightily suspicious to me.

Incineration is also not a good idea. It leaves behind body fat and bone fragments. A killer in China was convicted because body fat was found on the window mesh and they also discovered microscopic human bone fragments mixed in the concrete and paint. He incinerated the body, ground down the bones and flushed it. He then repainted the room and added a layer of new cement for good measure. He did clean the window mesh but trace evidence was still left behind.

Another seemingly good disposable method I've learnt from television was sealing the body shut in some tank with cement and dumping it. Some guy did that to his own fucking son to be with a mistress. Later on in the year, the city did a river cleanup event where they fished out an assortment of stuff. That includes his ghastly fucking barrel they had trouble getting out of the water, containing his own son (it probably weighed like 150kg, his son was obese). The poor workers didn't know what the fuck it was but officials were immediately alarmed. Well, let's just say at least the killer got the capital punishment. If only he dumped the barrel elsewhere. Perhaps JFG could have feasibly done something similar, but she's big. He'll need a massive barrel. Where did he buy it from? Or he made his own?

On his interview with Juju the cow, JF specifically talked about how he could fake a digital trace by keeping his phone on a roomba or something moving, and using a robot or a software macro to fake normal digital activity. Another option was to get in a taxi, leave his phone inside with the macro on, and the trace would lead somewhere completely different than the kill room.

The evidence isn't necessarily all gone -- if you've ever seen an episode of Forensic Files, you know that no matter how careful killers think they are, DNA evidence splashes around everywhere. A single bone fragment, blood droplet, piece of brain tissue hidden in a little crack or crevice somewhere. Of course, those are all things that are incredibly easy to overlook. Another thing is the shitloads of CCTV footage from absolutely everywhere. There's probably dozens of videos of JF lugging around suspicious looking bags and case from place to place. For every rat you see, there's 20 you don't.

I highly doubt JF is Dexter fucking Morgan and managed to completely cover his tracks. Something, somewhere will give him away if the RCMP care enough to look. If they fumble this case, however, then JF will get away with it for sure.

That's not actually true, at least not in real countries. Even in our current state, the U.S. has a slightly above 50% rate of solving homicides (down from well over 80% decades ago). There are definitely locations (like Chicongo) where the rates of solving are well below this, but in human-inhabited areas, it's actually pretty good.

I think so too, because this is what he admitted on stream, that he abandoned her in the woods with no possibility of her to survive.

Taking someone who is having a mental health episode (you'd have to be to abandon your kids for a life in the forest) and dropping them off in the woods with no survival skills, food, water, or shelter...it sounds like at least some sort of a negligent homicide or something like that.

If you just take his own story at face-value, it sounds very illegal.
