It's funny, the two black chicks seemed to be having heated words with the man, so they were clearly no friends of his. They drew the line at screaming at some poor toddler, though.

Germans especially in Central Texas.

South Texas switched to more white people that were Polish, Czech and Irish. Because of the intermarriages that's how you wind up with white boys with blond hair and hazel eyes with surnames of Guerra and Zepulveda.

McAllen, TX is a border city with Irish white settlers who quickly turned into Mexicans. New Braunfels is a German one.

Tejano music comes from Mexican vaqueros hanging around Poles and some Hungarians, both peoples who love accordions just like the Germans.

1. TSMC doesn’t produce leading node chips in Arizona but 5nm chips. So you’re either talking about comparing a 5nm node with a 3 or 4nm node, or the kind of normal improvements you see with yield as time progresses.

2. Yield is a tightly guarded secret among all semi manufacturers. Not just because of the competition but also because it affects pricing and competitors. It’s not something manufacturers openly and honestly discuss in public. The comment came from a webinar by TSMCs director in Arizona, and it’s hardly surprising that he goes “Oh yeah, everything is totally great! I’m doing an amazing job!” After a long and very troubled start.

More than that the woman who pulled her away had a Harris sign in her hands. They were clearly on her side until she began targeting the little girl.

I would also like to point out the one woman didn't just pull her away but appeared to angle it to put herself in between the crazy bitch and the little the girl.

Not to go too far down the rabbit hole, but a bunch of the USA west of the Mississippi River was the property of the Spanish crown (and French) not for a short while, but hundreds of years.

Mexico became a thing (part of New Spain) and the USA part was a dominion but was so vast and most of the conquistadores and settlers willing to go to the colonies came from the southernmost region of Spain (especially around Seville), the Spanish crown needed more people to go there, so they encouraged people from anywhere in Europe to hop over so the nasty French don't try to steal it. If you wanted to farm, or ranch, and spread the Catholic faith—you good.

(the smelly English protestants also turned up and paid to get permission to come in as well, but Spain preferred Catholic settlers)

Napolean needed money, and the USA bought the French out, and by the 1830s you had nanny-state government in Mexico City that nobody in Tejas liked.

After the war, nobody felt the need to start emulating East Coasters, that's why Texas still feels like a suburb of Mexico. Same for NM.

I was taking a shit and had a bit of a brainwave about political memes. The reason leftwing memes are so long and preachy is because they think you’re stupid and that you need to be explained to and told how to think in excruciating detail. This is how they learned to be good boys and girls in college, thus you will learn the same way. Right wing memes are to the point because they assume you’re smart enough to get the joke. They are laid back and casual and give you the intellectual credit for a simple idea. Just my 2 cents.
