I get that, but displacing their problem child on the rest of us - especially when she clearly costs a lot - is garbage. And as an adult, even on their insurance for which they pay the premiums, the debts from unpaid bills would be her responsibility.
I still disagree. I too hate paying for munchie LARPers in the public health system, but I don't think that her parents should be required to enable her behavior especially after she supposedly emancipated herself and sued them for child support. I wouldn't piss on that kid if she was on fire if she was mine.
Plus, while it's true she'd be on the hook for her own medical costs as an adult, it seems that she believes she's entitled to Mom and Dad paying for everything. So adding her to their insurance is a slippery slope. "They'll pay my premiums, but not my copays so what is even the point of adding me to their insurance, they're just torturing me," is what they'd get out of it.
Plus, again, they've offered to pay for literally everything if she'd stop the munchie LARP and work towards getting out of the chair. I don't even think they expect her to desist the Pooning, just stop pretending she can't walk and is constantly in anaphylaxis.
I dunno, kiwis. I still believe these parents are under zero obligation to pay for her insurance. She's 25, ungrateful, spiteful, and suffering from factitious disorder. That sounds like a cut-the-fuck-off situation if I ever heard one.
