I had no intentions of derailing the thread so badly, so I apologise, but for those of you claiming the Woke Content Detector Steam group is a troll, I would direct you to this Google spreadsheet with over 1,500 games, rated for your wokeness pleasure. I couldn't find a way to download a hard copy because it seems to be edit only, but if someone else figures it out please DM me it and I'll attach to my post.

The biggest problem this list has is a lack of consistancy.
Max Payne 2 is considered unwoke despite having a fighting woman in it, but elsewhere women fighting like men is counted as woke.
Hitman: World of Assassination is counted unwoke, but clearly went out of its way to present its world as diverse, including many women in unlikely professions.
I still need a woke rating on Hitman: Absolution; is killing an elite hitman squad of sexy battle nuns woke or nah?

You should take this spreadsheet with a spoon of salt. I've seen 5 probably porn games (might be more and guessing not well made) in the not recomended/woke category. Its inconsistent.
I saw GTAV(I don't remember who was gay in that game) & IV(Bernie/Florian & Niko going on a date with a guy to kill him) on the Informational tab. No San Andreas, Vice City or 3, only the Definitive Edition of Vice City (that is censored).

Gmod - Should be Informational. Due to Garry's decisions on a sandbox game that you can make/add whatever you want. So it can be as woke or not as you want. Caveat is if the addons you want are not banned.
DDLC - Iirc Monika breaks the 4th wall, so I guess meta joke? Idk.
South Park The Fractured But Whole - Might be wrong, but the choices you make when Mr. Mackey asks you is later played as a meta conversation tree joke before the fight with the rednecks. The redneck upon initiating a conversation will list all of your choices made before in a stilted/chopped way and after finishing the other guy asks him if he is ok. He answers with a simple "dialouge tree".

I see what you mean now, it could also be padding though. To me it seems insane, but if you're invested enough in the DEI stuff I can see being excited at the prospect of a database of thousands of games to avoid.
Personally, what sells it for me is I simply cannot see people taking the time to make such a gigantic list as a joke. I don't doubt they've phoned in a lot of the entries on the list to fluff it up, but it just seems like too much work to be a gay op.
I would rather the list be more condensed. You can cast a big net, but with the fishes you also catch a lot of seaweed.
I can see the effort. The problem is that you can write off some companies, indie or AAA out the bat as an informational or woke. Some of the well liked/played games are missing. Either more vetting or less contributers as a whole.

tbh that's kind of what I'd expect, since we're now on operating on so many levels of irony and 4D chess I don't know what's a joke any more. The list definitely seems like something libshits would blow out of proportion because they care way too much about how people care way too much about DEI in games (while pretending they don't actually care at all).
So long as we're adding anecdotes, I also got into an argument with a retard on GameFAQs forums years ago because he said he would refuse to by a game with a female lead on principle no matter how good it was. This was pre-GamerGate and all that shit so I have no doubt these people actually exist, though I do believe they are vanishingly rare.

Most players will never encounter the gay version of Ustvestia because, as the listing itself says, it's in the Japanese version only. You'd either have to play a retranslation or the Japanese version to see this scene. He still charges less for male party members in western versions. But instead of "he looks cute" you get "he looks smart".
So what are these services he's charging for? Piano lessons. And it is a mandatory side quest. You cannot advance the game without learning the musik technique. You need to open up a door in the control tower by playing the piano. Therefore, in the Japanese version at least, you cannot advance the game without being sexually harassed by an old fag.
Even as a kid playing this game I knew this guy was probably gay. Trying to make him sound sexist instead didn't really help.
