Don't know about 4chan other than it got sold to the feds, but something awful got subverted thanks to lowtax being the laziest nigger in the universe and handing over his management duties to the worst people he could pick, and SA mods being incentivized to bully users due to the 10 bux registration fee. I assume Kim Jong Moon is not so lazy as to not even check posting history of potential candidates.

Yeah, it is. I got a better idea:
Null posts the application form as plain text on the site.
You download it
Fill it out
Then null sets up another pc using another ip address.
You install linux, or cygwin if you sold your soul to microshit (note that in either case you'll have to learn to use the linux terminal, and SCP, hovewer both are simple, given the linux terminal is exactly like cmd or powershell, just the commands are different, but in your case you'll only need SCP, which is inherently simple to use. Just look it up online i guess)
you take the filled out form and use SCP to upload it to null's other PC/server
null takes a look at it, then sends you a text file calling you a retarted sperger.

Since it's using SCP, which uses the SSH protocol it's fairly secure and encrypted, It's also a direct connection, so no 3rd party can spy on you.
As a backup null might also make the form availible on said server for downloading using the said methodes.

I'd say the problem with what happened with 4chan being infiltrated was that there wasn't anyone to make sure the jannies weren't the usual suspects trying to come in and shit it up. And/or like SCP it was already filled with autists that just wanted social contact so when they were slowly outnumbered with scum they were too autistic to know what to do, and now here we are. I spoke to an ex-admin once and yeah most of the long standing jannies left around the time the Gamergate faggots somehow managed to grasp power. I also believe there were some back and forth that 4chan might be taken down if it doesn't kowtow to whoever or whatever, take it with an average fry's worth of salt.
With Null he'd probably have a hair trigger on the "demod button" if the mods so much as breath wrong so I'm not too worried. Unless they somehow remote access his ass somehow and he no longer has admin powers...Gods help us.

You're overthinking it. The people worth banning are obvious enough and no one will complain with them gone (in fact they'd be happy), would be an easy enough job so long as no new wave of shenanigans happens again like with Keffals. In which case just lock down the site for a bit and let Null sort out the inevitable DDoS...again...poor bastard. Besides, I rarely ever see anyone get fucking yeeted from the forum, rarer still is it a complex issue. Just be nice, don't be a plebbit janny and ban anyone for rolls dice sneezing at a 90 degree angle.

I probably spend enough time here to be a Jannie, but I would probably be biased.

What is the code of conduct that nannies should abide by? Will they be trawling for violations or responding to reports? Will jannies be able to unban themselves from threads they were previously banned from?

Edit: dang, got money filtered. Should've read the thread first on the correct way to fill the form.

I don't know if active jannies have it, but all retired staff can comment on all threads, even spergatory ones

The problem with 4chan is moot started simping for a Gawker employee (who began cuckolding him, literally) and was mocked for both this and Gamergate, so he gave up and sold it to the owner of 2chan. The man in question is a notorious scam artist and federal asset despised by the 2chan community. Together he, federal agents and a bunch of people who do it for free out of India or Israel have been making the site worse in every way. If Null starts simping for a woman we'll know things are about to get dire.
