If you were trying to write a movie character that was as unironically lacking in self-awareness as Phil, people would tear up the script and tell you how unrealistic he was.

Someone asked Phil on the N1 Podcast today if Khet is off tomorrow . "I don't know. Her schedule changes so much" Apparently her schedule is so erratic, she doesn't even know if she works 24 hours in advance.

Phil's day off used to be planned around his wife's day off. He recently changed his day off to Saturday. Considering his wife is a minimum wage retail slave and the holiday shopping season is coming, it's highly unlikely she could swing getting off every weekend. Phil also has to take off another extra day on Wednesday for a SUPER SECRET reason no one needs to know about.

Something strange is going on at the Snort Fort. I don't know what Phil's lying about, but I know he's lying.

Ya there is something weird going on she would have at least a week notice of schedule as a wagie. Unless she is like working gig stuff and only doing peak hours or something really unconventional I can't see how anything DSP is saying is true.

it's hilarious to me that all we know about kat is basically what dsp tells us, and from this small bit of info we have formed the idea that she's just a blob that can't do anything for herself and is too stupid to do anything other than eat

Again, Phail is so ignorant about how the real world works that he can't pull off a believable lie. Retailers are anal about scheduling so they know they have shifts covered. They don't tell workers on Tuesday that they're working on Wednesday hoping they didn't plan something.
