Elon isn't interested in hardest of the lowest quality developers and engineers money can buy. That was my market when I was a recruiter. The era of hiring unwashed migrants with bullshit degrees from JNTUH for 10 times what they'd make at home is past. They are leaving back for India when they get laid off.

Elon's entire ethos is to surround himself with the best money can buy. H1B devs that just repeat JAVA/SPRINGBOOT SER in every interview do not pass the smell test anymore.

another good point to bring up is that AI is making a lot of the lower level coding unnecessary, instead of hiring 10 assholes and having the manager carefully look through and fix their code, just let AI do the exact same shit and have the manager look through its code. with how fast AI works its never going to be worth it to pay a fucking to do that lower level shit ever again. By all accounts you basically don't need H1B anymore. its like how coders were used to being taught punch cards and then people got their start with assembly and then the new normal became learning with programming languages, and now most schools are teaching with AI and how to fix bad code instead of writing it.

This is some kind of fantasy Harry Potter stylized font that does not look like Fraktur. Hard to tell from the little jpeg pixel mess, but I would guess it’s based on old English letters. Look at the uneven legs of the m, the missing lower serif on the r, the flourishes on all the letters but especially the capitals. Where is the debooooonkers?
