The funny thing is that even though we now know that person was yanking Nick's chain, that probably threw Nick into a panick.

isn't it interesting how everybody on nick's side has been slowly losing patience with him, he's been turning on them, getting more and more vicious? almost like we were all right any time we were saying rackets was just a tragedy at this point. it happened with ralph, and the nick people watched it. it happened with the ty beard shit, and the nick people watched it. why does being internet fwends with somebody make it impossible to call them out on bullshit? if spectre were really his friend he would have been on nick's ass a long time ago. with 'friends' like those, who needs enemies? they'll let you drink yourself to death as long as you aren't an embarrassment to them with your cocaine children.

Humility is a matter of survival not just a matter of inner strength. If you're wrong, you're wrong, no amount of pride is going to change that shit and it's crazy that someone like Rekieta could've watched what happened to Ralph due to his own egotism and fall into the same damn trap. You have to be one particularly dumb motherfucker to watch someone get their life destroyed by some stupid mental shit and then do the exact same crap yourself.

Which is why I can't call him a nerd, most nerds are actually fucking intelligent to some degree. This guy's a fucking dork. A dweeb.

Basically where I'm at. There's also other factors I'm thinking of. Not a lawyer, but they make sense to me.

A: the permission was written. That's a contract. Breaching a contract can be difficult.

B. He let his copyright lapse and go unprotected for years essentially by allowing clip channels to clip him. Copyright IS use it or lose it. That's one of its few weaknesses. If you don't defend it, it can backfire onto you and you lose your grasp on said copyright.
