I think this demonstrates that EA never expected this game to do well - probably wrote it off as a tax write-off after the 386th attempt to redo the whole thing. That can be the only explanation as to why they would let the trannies run amok to come up with a game that only the most dysfunctional slice of society will want. It makes zero sense, business-wise, to do this. This game will be banned in most parts of the world that don't think stinkditches are so stunning and brave.

Nah, this was a Bioware (carcass) fuck up through and through.
Even so much so, that one could wager, EA let a bunch of the most dysfunctional and delusional code monkeys shit the bed so hard, they can close the studio with minimal reputation loss.

Addendum:
My thesis that EA wants to axe NuBioWare even makes more sense when one considers, that EA almost did everything it can to make this the least controversial release since years.
No DRM, Steam day one release, Steam Deck verified, no performance issues and no microtransactions.

i'm doing the Trespasser and Dorian is talking about how him and his good friend Maevaris (the canon tevinter tranny) is gonna be changing the empire and rooting out those "evil magister scoundrels", i blame Dorian for the tranny pushing within the empire, i looked past him being a faggot with daddy issues but him pushing for troons really makes me hate him.

Ok look, I like bad games, sometimes they manage to loop back to hilarious, but the fact it's this bad and THIS blatant about DEI-isms? Especially now that people are getting sick of the latter?

We're well past the "This shit isn't worth pirating" point, but its a point that needs to be made - This shit is not worth pirating. EA at least seems to know that with not paying for Denuvo, so I'm convinved they're pushing this out to try and recoup something before hopefully putting nu-Ware out of our misery.

I don't mind ShillUp - honestly I mostly listen to him rip bad games rather than watch his recommends that I know are mostly bought and paid - but this feels like yet another example in the long list of reasons no one trusts game reviewers/journalists anymore.

It just occurred to me to wonder how something like that might be done.
Bulk-buying your own product on Steam would just be getting taxed by Gayben.
So I suppose it would be more feasible for companies that own their own distribution platforms.

I'm just pontificating aloud here, trying to predict their next swozzle.

It will probably sell more than the previous AAA slop game star wars outlaws because veilguard will launch on steam day 1, something like 1,5 million copies before they start dropping the price imo. This is mass produced AAA slop supported by all of the grifters like IGN after all.

But this is modern AAA gaming. where studios are so absurdly bloated that you probably need something retarded like 3-4 million copies sold at full price just to recoup costs.

Remember bioware is a big ass AAA studio that hasnt released a game since 2017. And they operate in canada, must not be very cheap. Wikipedia says they have 800 employees. The budget of this game must be retarded. Nothing would make me happier than for those degenerates to close doors. Lets just hope.

I can't help feeling some melancholy. I actually love Dragon Age, it's one of my favorite fantasy game series ever. To see it being reduced to this... I expected it to be shit, but still, it is sad to see the stories of Thedas to crash down like this.

In War, Victory. In Peace, Vigilance. In Death, Sacrifice.

RIP. But hey, I will always have the early games to play with autistic fidelity when the mood strikes me!

The Warden, baddest character in all the franchise: made a child god, fucked a witch twice, killed a demon child, slayed the gay Arquitect, his best buddy supports twice in his adventures and so many more.
