I feel like I hear this exact same fucking piece of dialogue in every other piece of media anymore. You would think even trannies themselves would be exhausted by these heavy-handed attempts at inclusion at this point; the cliché clumsiness of the language and ideas. How do you hear a character come out as heckin enby for the 80th time in the exact same way with the exact same phrasing and still derive any enjoyment or relatability or whatever from it?

Despite everything I knew about the dev team, the precedent set by Inquistion's tranny and the absolute state of the Qunari, I still didn't think they'd be this in the your face about it. Outside of shit like Dustborn, stuff like this in larger releases - Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield, etcetera - is typically out of the way. Optional, easy to miss content hidden behind a dialogue option or side quest (Baldur's Gate 3's tranny required a little bit of effort to find) but this is so overt in comparison.

I couldn't get into the Dragon Age games. Finished the first one on the 360 on a couple different characters just to see what the "classes" were like, but the sequel that came immediately after Origins I never finished. Ended up giving my 360 and games to a friend who moved back to town and had no entertainment at his new place.
Never felt the urge to get another 360 or get them on PC if you even can.

I liked the premise of the second one.
Possibily related with the Mage Warden (or dead if you pick another origin), Hawke is pretty straightfoward in general. The acts have good plotlines.
The things i don't like were the time jumps, voiced protagonist (Shepard, amirite?) and dumbed down RPG mechanics, but i like the most-quick combat in DA2.
More than that, Origins is still better.
