Not since March. He was funny for a bit when he was posting about how we were all gonna get over 9000 years in federal prison for felony idiot mocking or whatever, but ultimately he's just another autistic permavirgin sperg and we've got a million of those to laugh at. Even Wacky Jackie seems to have given up on him and she's just as dumb and spergy as he is.

Usually at large in this context essentially means that he represents the membership as a whole instead of a specific subsection for example, you could have a subsection that just represented fantasy writers, my ass is too lazy to look it up

More or less. According to this, their job is to approve the org's budget and its uses, communicate with members by emailing, reading official publications, and lurking Discord, make sure the board hears about it when someone wants to bitch about something, check on committees to make sure they're doing their jobs, and vote on stuff. Thing that sticks out to me most is the part about the budget, especially about how they're supposed to supervise and approve its use. Given that SFWA almost certainly funded Pat's lawsuit, then whichever idiots were serving as directors at the time were probably among the people who signed off on the organization sinking over a hundred grand into a hilariously lost cause.

Rick seems to be arguing that a minor Nazi rally at MSG in 1939 led to the Holocaust, not the Nazis taking power in Germany in 1933 or invading all their neighbors or whatever. If MSG's management back then had just turned down the Bund, the Nazis over in Germany would have accomplished nothing.

Also, the Bund was so shitty that the Nazis in Germany complained about it making them look bad (the idea of the Nazis complaining about bad PR is funnier than any of Jennifer's jokes) and tried to shut it down but the leader continued it because he was in America and they couldn't do anything to him.
