Outside of "muh voter fraud" (yeah it was rigged) how did biden win in your guy's opinion? Was it covid? Blm galvanized & gaslit the black vote?
Covid definitely played a huge role in Trump losing re-election - if that shit had happened a year later Trump would be in the white house right now. Aside from that, I think a lot of people who voted for Biden were hoping that he would bring about a "return to normalcy" wherein the division and overall tension that marked the country from 2016-2020 would end along with Trump's presidency. This obviously didn't materialize because A) Trump and his millions of supporters don't just magically disappear if he leaves office and B) Trump is a symptom of America's dysfunction, not it's cause; If the the Great Recession hadn't had turbo-fucked the economy and if a person born into the middle-class could reasonably expect to stay there, then Trump would be doing The Apprentice season 20.

Some responses in this thread to the current democrat propaganda almost sound like the users want their preferred party to lose.

I understand that election fraud is alive and well (even my liberal mom says the democrats cheat in the elections), but I get the feeling that some people in my political camp are getting a bit too used to losing and getting cheated and censored and canceled, to the point where they are now expecting it, anticipating it, and anything else is weird and they don't trust it. It feels like some sort of political masochism, like you are rubbing your nipples while posting.

Of course, you were trained to anticipate these things, but I thought we are adept at "breaking the conditioning".

"Conservatives" or whatever you want to call us, our big tent here of people fed up with the political corruption, gender insanity, race baiting and globohomo, we all need to break our conditioning and get used to taking big fat Ws, because I see a bunch of them on the horizon for us.

I can’t actually predict what’s going to happen. No one can. All I can tell is that a chance at winning is better than no chance at all.

Google search was giving people searching "Trump Joe Rogan" an opinion piece from the arizona republic that said it was 3 hours of brain rot earlier today as the first result so they clearly just don't care until people notice.
If Google is going to seek any kind of reconciliation they need to explain in detail how this opinion-shaping is done. Like do queries about wrongthink subjects have algorithmic filters applied that block results with primary sources and instead return commentary from trusted orthodox sources? It would be most interesting to see commented source code that defines the parameters for this.

Electing Biden didn't bring about a return to normalcy for the same reason that giving the bully your lunch money won't make him leave you alone.

ETA - this Puerto Rico pearl-clutching makes absolutely zero sense to me. It's like nobody has any close hispanic friends, because nobody is more intentionally racist towards Puerto Ricans than Mexicans. Or Hondurans. Or Dominicans. Or Panamanians. Or literally any other flavor of hispanic, because they all hate each other. No one should care about this, because hispanic voters do not care about this. They say worse things about each other at the dinner table every day of the week.
Latinos are a lot like nogs in that regard, they may call each other names and be extremely racist but as soon as someone paler than them does it, it's the end of the world
Even if that whiteish/tanned person shares the same nationality as them

If Trump can't win with the numbers from polls, early voting, registration etc then I don't really see how anyone running on the republican side could realistically win the presidency in the near future. If you told anyone in politics that they would have these numbers 6 months ago they would be calling bullshit on you like you wouldn't believe.

I have to admit to having a growing sense of apprehension. Like many of you, I went to bed late on November 5th, 2020, sure that Trump had won, and woke the next day to the horrifying news that he hadn't. Of course, we found out that there's not much anybody can do to correct widespread cheating in an election, as we all witnessed.

I just pray that conditions and precautions prevent such a massive steal this time. I think it's time for standardized election laws for all states, and drop boxes, unrequested mail-in ballots, and ballots received post-election day should not be a part of standard elections.

I've decided to keep my optimism, just this once. I think he can do it and too big to rig isn't that big when you think about it. If I'm destined to be disappointed than so be it.

Part of the problem is that the "normalcy" that people wanted was simply the ending of Democrat antics. the "abnormalties" were things like the media portraying the sitting president as satan, the Democrats doing everything they could to block and stymie him, and liberals causing massive riots and protests. ""Normalcy" was simply caving into children having temper tantrums, and giving them more power over you in the process. Biden's presidency was not "normal," it was dystopic. Trannies running amok, criminal acts being condoned, and every part of the economy had taken a hit.

"Return to normalcy" should've been: 1. Complete silence on anything Trump, 2. Reduction of politics being shoved into every form of media, 3. cracking down on liberal antics.
Instead we got: 1. immediate neutering of the economy starting with the cancellation of oil wells and the Keystone pipeline, 2. nonstop blaming Trump for everything and trying to jail him, 3. politics going into overdrive to the point that "wrongthink" became a crime, even if it was objective observations of liberal policies becoming mistakes.

Covid was a test from God and Americans failed it in spectacular fashion.

When do you guys think the election will be called? Anytime before midnight on the 5th or are we talking about 2-3-4 at night?
What I would like to happen is that the usual suspects suspiciously stop counting when it looks like Trump to win, only for it to be rendered moot when Trump wins enough blue states to make the fraudulent swing states irrelevant.

I think something will "go wrong." They will attempt to stop counting or cover up the counting, which will cause a reaction and heightened emotions so that fighting or something will happen at some poll counting sites. There will be clear attempts to steal the election which are caught immediately, leading to a fight.

If we're lucky, Trump pulls such a big lead that a subdued media gives up and starts calling the elections by ten pm.

I vaguely remember leading up to the election people were ringing alarms bells of fuckery like the rigged voting machines, but I'm not hearing that much now. Might just be too early for it though.

It depends whether many states call for Trump with margins that are too big to contest. If it looks truly unwinnable for them they may call on E-day, otherwise I expect they'll try to draw things out as long as they can.

That makes sense, the left has basically been playing a game of chicken where the idea is that the loser is whoever does something really violent and illegal first. It's what they wanted with Jan. 6 but that was nothing but a wet fart despite all the propaganda. If they can provoke the right into doing something shocking that goes against the status quo, they can justify a civil war to restore order. They may not like the effects of opening such a Pandora's Box but they've never been too concerned about second-order effects.

For any kind of "normalcy" to be re-established Biden would've needed to be a much more moderate president that would of guaranteed he would get no chance at a 2nd term as he would anger his own party's supporters in the process of decreasing the polarized political atmosphere that the United States currently has. Such a role though requires a very particular type of politician that is willing to sacrifice their career and legacy for the health of the overall nation.

Instead of this the United States was handed an administration that was eager to fan the flames and advance a radical agenda without any care or regard for push back whatsoever.

You could say that the same thing about this whole century Tbf.

National debt was FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS in 2000. Several forever wars and three Dem/three GOP presidents it’s soon going to be 40 trillion dollars. Biden alone added 6 trillion dollars.

Shit ain’t working. I reckon this election is America’s last chance to course correct. Cut spending, cut debt, make peace not war.

Trump is polling relatively well in AZ, NC, and GA, hovering around a positive 1-2%. That's within the margin of error, but it's large compared to the WI, PA, and MI - the margins for those three are (according to 538, RCP, and 270 to win) mostly at 0.5% or less. None of these states can be considered "safe" for either candidate, but the safest for Trump are AZ, NC, and GA. Winning those states would give him 262 electoral votes; any of the three rust belt states (but not NV) moves him past 270. NC and GA by themselves gives him 251 - enough to win the election outright if he wins PA.
PA's polls close at 8 pm EST; If he wins NE + GA + PA he wins outright and the election is over before we even reach the rest of the rust belt.
If he wins NC and GE but not PA, then we need to look at WI and MI. If he doesn't flip at least one of them then Harris gets 270 and wins outright (and the election will be called a few hours after 9 pm EST). If he does flip one of them (and only one of them) we'll need to wait until either NV or AZ's results are in.
If WI flips then he needs AZ to win and we'll know the winner a few hours after 9 pm EST.
If MI flips than either AZ or NV will be enough for him to win; if he wins AZ then it's the same as above, if not we'll have to wait an extra hour for NV's results (IE a few hours after 10 pm EST).
TLDR; Probably between 9pm to 12pm EST, assuming they actually count the ballots in a timely manner this time.
