That's exactly what he did with the tax codes in 2016 and it made him wildly popular. The idea that the leaders are behaving the way they do because the system in place incentivizes it, the same system he pledges to fight tooth and nail to fix. I remember Dave Chapelle did a comedy set outlining exactly this phenomenon and why it's such a politically brilliant thing to do.

Plus, it takes some of the heat off the leaders in question, which makes sense given he's going to have to establish good diplomatic relations with them.

Trump is capable of understanding the concept of acting in your self-interest rather than according to abstract ideology, which most Washingtonians simply aren't. The Beltway retards for example think a foreign official will deliberately put his own government in danger because he's being "undemocratic" or something.

No plan to archive because it's a long CNN video, but their new cope is that this time Trump won't outperform his polls because being MAGA has been normalized.
I don't think they're entirely wrong, however I firmly believe so long as the media has lopsided negative coverage of Trump he will overperform to an extent. He's not as understated in the polls this time around because Elon Musk blew a big gaping hole in the otherwise completely locked down media landscape but there absolutely still is a tilt effect from the existing structure.

Congress created commission demands bypass of the public, and relays a bleak view of current capabilities of United States. It demands that US allies be "integrate[d]". It also demands unlimited money to the military and unlimited debt. Also, increased taxes.

If Republicans don't win the governor's seat, they may still keep the majority in NC's General Assembly and make Stein's term a lame duck one.
They currently have a supermajority, which I think is why a lot of these red state governors can stay in power so easily; they can avoid pushing progressive wishlist things using the excuse that the state congress would never pass it, which stops progressive from eating them alive, while also keeping the conservatives happy by focusing on keeping the economy running smoothly. Typically these red state democrat governors don't do anything too egregious, which is why they get easily elected.

They've already went from increasing the DoD budget ~50 billion a year to increasing it ~100 billion a year since Vlad Daddy decided hohols needed a spanking, nearly all of the increase going to building and supplying the expansion of asplodeys production. It's never enough for them. The only place where money is awkshoolly deficient is shipbuilding

Trump outperforms his polls because past polling methods are failing in the wake of a major political realignment. They don't just oversample Democrats; they oversample the kinds of independents and Republicans who like globalism and the rainbow jihad, while undersampling the kinds of Democrats and independents who are concerned about endless 3rd world migration and inflation.

They do nothing economically smart. What they do is focus on being polite and inoffensive, so when they're up for reelection, they run on the Republican being a stupid, illiterate asshole. They might sabotage him other ways, as well, like drumming up a scandal. This makes Republicans in middle feel good about voting for him. He didn't implement communism, and he talks smooth and doesn't have the support of those embarrassing backwoods racists, so they vote for him.

Racist jokes really do drive them fucking crazy.

The comedy of the left has removed the idea of punchlines entirely to a large degree, and the classic forms of jokes, because they get so easily offended by a funny quip, an unexpected reversal into final words of a sentence that tickle your brain.

How many billions of dollars have these people spent to make sure racist jokes couldn't ever be uttered by anyone without immediate cancellation? Only to watch as it all crumbles because of that guy who had a cameo in Home Alone 2.

You love to see it.

Make America Joke Again.

National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022 created the Commission on the National Defense Strategy. RAND was employed for "analytic and administrative support"

I'm watching the press conference but I don't understand what it's all about. It's good because Trump is basically throwing whitepills.

Kamala's going to give a speech later tonight about how what our nation needs is a way forward, and how we're not going back and we can't let the politics of grievance rule us.

Trump is making sure that his most recently articulated grievances are dead girls and women who died on Kamala's watch needlessly, because of insane policies and a botched conclusion to a conflict.

That way, when Harris talks about how we should all just move on and move past things, she's basically saying "ignore those dead bodies I left over there in the corner, why can't we let bygones be bygones?" It's intended to make her messaging seem tone-deaf.

Our water and electricity? We are a net exporter of energy and our water doesn't come from goddamn China, what are these defense contractor lobbyists claiming?

RAND Corporation reports are useful as "increase spending amount 50% from what the RAND report recommends" and that's about it

"What difference, at this point, does it make?!" returns in a big way! Kamala has almost completed her transformation into Hillary
