Also the fact Trump realized his mistake the last time and is telling everyone vote early and mail
In your ballot. Also having Laura as the head of the RNC and not putting up with people’s bullshit anymore definitely helps.
He said in the Rogan interview that when he just became president, people he was told were “experts” and “highly trustworthy” turned out to be neither of those things, which is why his cabinet kept changing so frequently. He knows people much better now in DC, and is likewise choosing better candidates for the job.

Also, it should be noted that the neocon wing was much stronger when Trump was president from 2017-2019, due to people like McCain still being alive. McCain’s death really weakened neocons in Congress, and they’ve been getting weaker since.

And that is by design.

Just saying ... McCarthy did nothing wrong.
Even then, McCarthy wasn't involved in HUAC or the Hollywood blacklists. Those happened nearly a decade before him, and were House investigations.

He was a senator, and was investigating Commie agents within the military, FBI, State Department, etc.

And when the Venona Papers were declassified in the 90's, he was vindicated. Joe McCarthy was an American hero.

ETA - this Puerto Rico pearl-clutching makes absolutely zero sense to me. It's like nobody has any close hispanic friends, because nobody is more intentionally racist towards Puerto Ricans than Mexicans. Or Hondurans. Or Dominicans. Or Panamanians. Or literally any other flavor of hispanic, because they all hate each other. No one should care about this, because hispanic voters do not care about this. They say worse things about each other at the dinner table every day of the week.
It NYC and New england, puerto ricans are everywhere. and unlike mexico, Boriqua are innately US Citizens.

We're completely and utterly doomed. That Puerto Rico joke was the final straw that broke the final nail in the fat lady singing. The act of voting only lends the system the appearance legitimacy, so the best thing to do is stay home, or if you must vote, vote for Kamala Harris, to hasten the inevitable collapse. It's best to give up now and spare yourself any disappointment later on.

It's funny because that is exactly what doomers and feds sound like.

Isn't VA a solid blue state because of NOVA? How did the dems fuck it up so badly?
Terry McCauliffe's "parents shouldn't be involved in education" comment and Loudoun County covering for a tranny rapist, to the point that the DOJ deemed the father of the victim a terrorist for getting angry with the school board.

But those are some time ago, yeah? I remember those being a huge factor in how Youngkin got in, but it feels like there wasn't much news from the state after that, aside from Youngkin quietly closing the loopholes in election fraud integrity. Maybe the last one has them spooked bad though.

"Trump was supposed to win in 2020!, but the Democrats rigged it!"

But also:

"We can still win this time if we voted harder in the election we believe to have been rigged in the past"

fucking excuse me?, but am I seeing IRL doublethink behavior right in front my eyes?

You are falling for a false dichotomy. The assumption that rigging is a binary that either happens or does not is where you are wrong.

It's perfectly possible for one party to try and rig the system and still lose if they don't do it properly. The way the Electoral College is setup in the USA for example means that it doesn't matter if a deep blue city in California or a deep red city in Florida start printing ballots like crazy because these states are already locked in and the extra votes count for nothing. To actually influence the results the fraud must be spread to key points to flip states.

In 2020 despite what was said the margin of win for Joe Biden was actually 0,07%. If 7 in a thousand voters had voted differently then key counties in swing states would have likely gone a different way. Which would flip them and their Electoral Votes.

It's a lot easier to fraud a election when you only need a thousand mail in ballots sent to a county in Georgia than when you need 150 thousand ballots sent to multiple counties in Pensylvania.

The comedian's name escapes me at the moment (and I'm too lazy to check right now lol), but one of the comedians that interviewed Trump recently ... He's openly stated that he's been dropped from quite a few gigs since that podcast.
I'm not surprised, but a lot of comedians have podcasts now and get income that way. They can lean back on that until the heat from the Recent Thing™ blows over. In most cases, venue owners do this just to get some special interest groups off their back and it's nothing personal.
Shane Gillis got canceled for a long while there when he got shit-canned from SNL, too. Granted, he's made quite the comeback, but it took him years to do it.
Shane Gillis made a comeback because the SNL writer who tried to cancel him was a little weasel and everyone knew it. Gillis has friends, that writer did not, and now that weasel writer is doing bit work because he fucked with the wrong person.
And not enough comedians came to bat for Roseanne. A lot did (including Hinchcliffe, who has had a long standing record of supporting fellow comedians when bullshit happens to them), but she's basically been permanently shut out from the "in" crowd since becoming an outspoken Trump supporter, and she probably won't see success like she used to again.
A lot of them did. Rogan absolutely did. As much as I love Roseanne Barr, the mistake she made was taking an old-school approach in dealing with networks. She put herself in a position where the network could take everything away from her - and it did.
And that is by design.

Just saying ... McCarthy did nothing wrong.
McCarthy was right. Commies were everywhere in Hollywood and wanted to infiltrate government.

Maybe the last one has them spooked bad though.
That's exactly it. McCauliffe was one of the Dems' golden boys, and Youngkin winning beyond their ability to cheat was a major upset. Enough people outside of NoVA were upset.

And since Virginia often has off-year gubernatorial elections, it's sometimes considered a bellewether.
It's a lot easier to fraud a election when you only need a thousand mail in ballots sent to a county in Georgia than when you need 150 thousand ballots sent to multiple counties in Pensylvania.
Precisely. You need plausible deniability to steal an election. Which is why you shouldn't get smug about Trump's razor-thin lead in the polls.

This has already started in Texas with Operation Lonestar. Biden didn't have the leadership and gravitas to keep the states in check if push came to shove. If they cheat Kamala in she won't have any ground to stand on if the states really start going against her.
Unless she goes full mad queen tyrant. Remember, she fucking kept people in jail past their release date to use them as slave labor and hid evidence that cleared an innocent man at trial.

Combined with her bitterness at being sidelined and the rumors that Jill Biden routinely threatened to end her career during the Biden administration every time Jill felt threatened by Kamala exerting any power that Jill had usurped from her husband in his senile state? She's a recipe for the left going full fascist in ways that would make Stammer, Trudeau, and Macron go "oh fuck...".

Anyone read Melania’s book yet? I have it on order but won’t be delivered until 7th Nov. I heard it was a bestseller? Not that that means much these days but I’m taking people liked it / her?

"Bestsellers" by all celebrities are fake. It's very cheap to buy your way into bestseller status. For a lot of these celebrities, it's just a cheaper way of getting publicity than donating to build a hospital wing or whatever. This goes for all celebs in all areas. Arts, entertainment, politics on both sides of the aisle. Every one of them.

Becoming a bestseller only requires purchasing a few thousand copies of a book in its first week on the shelves. A few tens of thousands of copies and you're #1 for a while. Americans read less and less, so the numbers can be tweaked very easily. If your PR spend is already in the millions, it's a rounding error and then you're forever a NYT #1 bestseller.
