In Nick's latest conspiracy theory, "someone" gathered up out of "context" quotes of Nick talking about religious matters and passed them on to the pastor of his church. This apparently was part of poisoning the pastor's mind against his former good friend Nick leading to the report on Nick as a bad parent to the authorities and presumably also led indirectly to the search warrant being issued against him.

So perhaps during the trial or during the appeal we will be hearing more about Nick's religious views perhaps either in the context of calling the pastor to the stand or maybe from Nick himself if he takes the stand to set the record straight.
