If you can’t be stopped from playing can you at least do the right thing and either pirate it or if you’re on console pick it up second hand to keep your hard earned away from BioWare?
Seriously. At least until a few years later, when your purchase won't add to the initial sales figure rush.

They do accessibility consulting so their credit will involve something like this.
One of the original whiners who complained about game difficulty in Dark Souls btw.
I'm considering lifting my fatwa on Total PNGtuber Death, because I would love to not have to look at this autistic twink while he copes about easy mode in Dark Souls.

Right, it’s one thing to break and play it but it’s another thing entirely to be part of that critical initial sales window that is the ultimate decider on whether BioWare see the game as successful and worth repeating.

I can hardly believe they would be this blatant and force the use of an easily recognizable phrase like that.
Terminally online gaymers would smell that rat instantly, and surprise surprise, they did.

It's not surprising. No company gives you freebies without strings attached. They will want something back, in this case, some degree or even full control over the resulting favorable review.

I've accepted freebies to do reviews once upon a time, when I was naive and assumed that they really meant it when they wanted an honest review. Nope.

One publisher wanted me to rewrite my review to suit their preferences, another insisted that I delete the negative parts of my review, and one more dropped me because the person in charge heard that I was "rude" but she was too busy to review what I wrote, so she decided it's easier to just drop me altogether.

That's why shills are often tourists in for the fame and freebies. If you're a true fan of something, accepting freebies for reviews and letting them dictate how you tell people about the freebies will eventually disillusion you and even put you off the hobby for good.

Someone has leaked all the Taash scenes and it's one of the worst things I can recall seeing in a video game.

"You're barely wearing a shirt!" Character in question is wearing a pretty modest shirt, it is just unbuttoned.
"Taash, do you like being a woman?"
"Heh, no one likes being a woman."
"If something about being a woman is hurting you, I don't think it's stupid at all."
"Non-binary. I just said. And I'm going to use "they" instead of "she" from now on."

Taash's entire plot line is "Wah, I can't be a woman if I'm a buff dragon slayer, and my mother was mean to me, so I'm non-binary now."

And why would people hire untalented trannies as consultants? To make games worse?
You have to hire LK Dale or he will drop a blind item on social media about how you were transphobic and sexist towards him.
Member when he got a guy fired by Microsoft because he thought the guy "dead-named" him? It was all bullshit but MS fired him anyway.

So your choices don't matter in the game, and you're forced to watch Taash's "non-binary" line. Is that correct?

Also, here's the leaked Taash scenes.

I don't understand trans ideology. Do they not understand that it would be more radical to have Taash able to be a woman and a dragon slayer? To wipe the blood from her ax and then put on a pretty dress? To not make a big deal about it? The gender binary is bullshit that insists that only certain genders can do certain things. To say nothing of how I can't imagine a Qunari, who Sten makes clear have a strict understanding of sex and gender based on roles, flatly calling anything "non-binary." The worst thing about Taash is you can write a quest or two where the fact she's a woman and a dragon slayer runs into the limitations of Qun, and you can examine those ideas in a way that feels more natural, but what is presented is straight out of a 2024 Reddit post.
Guess which trans-lolcow worked on Dragon Age Veilguard to make it ultra woke?

I remain in fucking awe at how nakedly trannies pull this shit. Just reaching out to people because they're trans. "Hey, want to come do some work on a Dragon Age title? No, no, you don't need any experience, you have the right flags in your Twitter profile."
