Well, now it will happen between multiple party members and apparently it's much more fleshed out. Taash will hook up with Harding: watch the last few minutes of the uploaded video.

Yeah, but in previous versions it was very much just a conversation thing, and that was the end of it. It gave the characters a little more depth.

But now, they've turned it into Dragon Age: Polycule...

I will have to romance Harding just to save her from that horrible fate.

This is also why I think you aren't allowed to kill random NPCs in games anymore. I was shocked that BG3 let me murder the trannies in that game.

I like that it's not even that you can't disregard their ideology but that you aren't allowed to be mean at all. You can't tell them to shut up and get in line, you can't tell them to fuck off, you can't bribe people, you can't kill them in a rage

I remember when DAO was coming out, major marketing material in that game pushed how dark and edgy you could be.

Most garbage games hit the top 10 on Steam if they're AAA for a little while at least. Like I said, it will be a decent seller, not a Concord tier flop, but they'll tacitly admit six months from now that it failed to hit expectations.
