The truth is that we do not exactly know for sure. The thing is some reviewers gave their opinion and even if you remove the blatant political/SJW stuff you will still have a dumpsterfire instead of a game.

The game seems to be going from mediocre to aggresively bad in general. About the bad sides, I gathered here and there that :
1. Lack of dialog choices/true alternatives
2. Mediocre to extremely bad writting in general. For exemple the main character seems to only serve as a carpet for current BioWare new OCs.
3. Even more incoherences with the lore.
4. Disregard of 14 years of choices made by all previous players across all previous games "Lol Lelianna is alive, i dont care if you killed her". The extent of which we will know soon.
5. More dumbing down of combat with even less control of companions and it does not even look as good as Dragon's Dogma aRPG combats.
6. Skill tree looks terrible to navigate, not realy interesting and the skills of companions are not even the same as the main character, so theirs is also probably dumbed down too.
7. The Interface, HUD, etc are terrible looking, very shiny, ugly font and have an ugly "mobile-game" style.
8. Changes in art style(AGAIN) that are absolutely ugly or laughable(the Ogre or Isabella for exemple).
9. Uncanny/bad animations.

In the next few weeks we will know to the full extent.

If this is still built on Frostbite then it should be easy to write mods for it due to the Frosty Mod Manager created for the Frostbite engine. Especially if the underlying code is substantially similar to inquisition. I would imagine it won't take much time at all for mods to pop up that will hopefully fix at least some of this garbage.

Honestly, if you were keeping up with the young adult novels scene/drama this is perfectly in line with what is now spewed out over there.

Just complete after school drivel that pushes the wokest of modern politics. This may find it audience among the same kind of people that buy those. You know, autistic trans 36 year olds.

Some good mods might be published but lets be serious, the whole ordeal will probably requiere a ton of rework and time to fix this thing.

For better or for worse, if some of those mods are not exactly in line with the moral codes of certain mode sites, we might see some of them or their creators get banned.

Yes and its cringe as hell. As others said, it can be something causing eye bleeding, brain damage and even making your soul avert its gaze. Personnaly it left me laughing like an idiot or speechless with my jaw dropping. It is aggressively bad :story:
