The only thing that makes me sceptical about Gelly's existence is how fast he went from true believer to questioning. Of course it could be that the failed rape by perception was so shocking that he quickly began to questioning what he was told. If he is indeed real than it seems like there were always doubts in the back of his mind because a it's hard for a brainwashed trans to make a 180 and if it happens it takes a long time.
I think it is probably true, assuming that this is the first time he is away from his dad and the supportive hug box nest and actually being shocked by the reaction of someone with no reason to lie to him about the situation.
People who grow up in really sheltered situations are nearly always shocked to the core over people not behaving how they expect them to.
And especially in this case because for whatever reason he seemed to think this guy wasn’t going to realize.
That demonstrates that he has either never been clocked or he just hasn’t noticed being clocked before.
This in turn shows that he has never been in a situation which wasn’t influenced by his father.
Be it actively controlled by his father, for example the school having been briefed that if anyone mentions it, he will sue.
Or his father just told him that they hadn’t noticed if Gilly questioned if someone had.
Gilly was even talking about having sex with a man and then to get him to explain the difference.
Only someone with zero life experience would think that is a good idea.
Going to guys, saying he is trans and wants sex for this reason is going to get him in further trouble or taken up on the offer by a sick fuck who thinks it would be a funny experience, would not end well for him.
If it is some kind of troll or misguided terf trying to create a cautionary character, it’s a good one.
