Party Finder is how most people get through endgame content. Just watch a guide for the fight you're going to do, check party finder, then join a group for it. Don't need to approach or even talk to people.I've never really been there in release for any MMO related things at Max lvl at release outside of DT. Don't wanna just approach anyone because half of the time they're alphabet weirdos and I'm not gonna get banned over interacting with them.
So, a bit of explanations;I also never unlocked any Extreme raids after the initial 100+s that are there for max level, I had the regular arena completed but not the EX versions or M1S? (I dont understand these naming conventions) couldnt unlock any Alliance Raids or extremes for the DT ones that seem like a battle arena from Ratchet and Clank Deadlocked.
"Extreme" difficulty fights are the endgame versions of the 8 person fights that are standalone - i.e. story fights like Valigarmanda.
"Savage" fights are the hard version of raids, which are the series of consecutive endgame fights like Arcadion, Eden, and Omega.
Savage is harder than Extreme, and Ultimate is harder than Savage.
Alliance Raids haven't released yet for Dawntrail, so that's why you wouldn't be able to unlock them yet, but they're also easy.
Buffs are only needed in Savage and Ultimate. In Extreme, they help, but are mostly so that you don't die from full HP if you're in low gear (some attacks can hit very hard if you're doing it on content, your healers will thank you). Damage wise, Extremes really are not that hard. If you're hitting enrage in an Extreme, one or two people using potions to buff their damage isn't usually gonna change anything, there are multiple people in the party who need to stop licking windows.I saw shit like that mentioned and only ran into 1 or 2 people in regular instances complaning that there was a wipe due to "not everyone having a buff" (which is a far cry if your ask me if that is the case in a regular duty.)
The damage checks this tier for Savage are also pretty damn easy, but you do really want the food, if only because having a tiny bit more HP can be the difference between surviving a raid wide or not. If you die, that damage down plus lost uptime is a significant hit to your total damage over the fight.
If people are complaining about buffs in anything besides Savage, Ultimate, or in some cases Extremes (if you're dying from full HP), they're a shitter who is just looking for an excuse.
