Adam being the protagonist for a show about redeeming people who've been sent to Hell...just works so much better than what we got. Like, if you're going to utilize figures from the Bible, you might as well give them their full potential. The Adam we got could be fucking named Steve, and the character wouldn't have changed much. Granted, I would wanted someone other than Viv to write this hypothetical story because I'm pretty sure if she took a whack at it, we would have gotten another story that focused outside the main characters.I love this version! I think that has less to do with the positions of Adam or Charlie and more of sticking withe the original premise in the first place. Either character could work, but Viv fucked off with the premise when she decided "actually, heaven are the real bad guys" and therefore never bothered trying to get the sinners to actually repent for their sins in any meaningful way.Adam being the protagonist for a show about redeeming people who've been sent to Hell...just works so much better than what we got. It was synthesized in 1926 but you're right that it would have had no street use until much later. It was just one of those thousands of chemicals that get synthesized and then sit on a shelf for years before anyone finds a use for them. Kind of like how Hofmann synthesized LSD in 1938 but it wasn't until 15 or so years later that he discovered its properties by accidentally dosing himself with it.Except for the fact that PCP wasn't developed until the 50s and Angel died in the 40s...
Same. I was watching the other swap AU animatics and I honestly kinda love it? I'm not saying it turns Hazbin's story into Citizen Kane, but it feels like it makes more sense than what we got.Adam being the protagonist for a show about redeeming people who've been sent to Hell...just works so much better than what we got. Is there a compilation showing them saying this? What exactly did they say highlighting why they hate her? What did Octavia do? She is the only character that has literally done nothing wrong (Manslaughter lacks the impetus for me to say that is was evil. Wrong in the sense that she’s actively evil or actively trying to harm others). The only other characters that come Close are the cherubs, specifically Collin, and I’m almost convinced he might be ‘redeemed’ i.e. join the good side (the fuckers we call protagonists) for some reason. Octavia though? What, did she ask he dad to pay attention to her as he was neglecting her again for the self destructive sociopath? Did Stella and her uncle manipulate her by pointing to her dad and saying, ‘Look at the shit he’s pulling,’ and she rightly hates him for it? Fuck. They’re going to make her grovel for daddy’s forgiveness, aren’t they?Same. I was watching the other swap AU animatics and I honestly kinda love it? Side note, I heard about a stream Vivziepop had very recently, might have to take a look. There was something about her and a lot of the other crew actually hating Octavia, and how Vivzie's art skills have degraded to the point where she can't draw Angel Dust anymore. If that's true, the former is giving me flashbacks to the Miraculous creator having beef with a teenage character on his own show.
I can’t find the stream on YouTube, and one link I tried made my antivirus panic. But I say it’s likely because she‘s cockblocking her wonderful father who is just trying his best and can do no wrong, and she’s an angsty teenage meanie who can’t understand that he just had to cheat on her mother. Is there a compilation showing them saying this? Part of me already knew that last part, but if I had a special baby-boy character, the least I would do is, I don’t know, not make him one of the worst characters on the show? Here, I thought Austruc’s hate boner towards Chloe was unreasonably stupid, at least in a narratively it might sorta make sense if you ignore most of the characters that get let off the hook, but this? This is literally Faggotry destroying the entire support structure a child has ever known, and the child being the villain for being upset about it. I think I understand what Frank Grimes went through at the end of Homer’s enemy, because this is driving me insane.I can’t find the stream on YouTube, and one link I tried made my antivirus panic. Remember, Stolas is Vivzie’s baby boy. Everyone who calls him out on his bullshit is either evil or just doesn’t understand him.

If this is true, they'll be more childish than Octavia would ever hope to be. How could you make excuses for a character that *deserves* a reality check is beyond me.I don't know if this stream is real or not
But if its true and the crew genuinely mean it, I bet there is a plotline where Stella is going to abuse Octavia.

Welp...who's willing to comb through this one to find anything interesting?I found it courtesy of Chaifootsteps. I'm not watching an hour long stream just to clip when she said it, though.
It also doesn't help that she is a woman, and as proven on this show, women in Helluva Boss are barely given any development and are side track by the men on the show. "Male-centric" isn't an excuse to forget your female characters, Viv.>be Octavia
>father is a narcissistic homo too busy engaging in his retarded fantasies with a degenerate drug-addicted psycho imp to raise you
>mother is batshit insane and too busy trying to have your dad killed
>uncle Andrealphus is a scheming wannabe-Machiavelli fag who never gave a shit about you to begin with
>your only friend – a hellhound and daughter to aforementioned druggie imp – is trying to gaslight you into thinking your dad did nothing wrong
>you're a walking plot device with no real agency of your own
>your own writers hate you for no real reason other than you being an obstacle in the way of their planned gay melodrama

Out of sheer morbid curiosity I’m going to try and watch it when I have time, but if it’s anything like the show proper I will need to take several breaks throughout. I’ll have time stamps and provide context on certain parts.Welp...who's willing to comb through this one to find anything interesting?

What irritates me the most about Stolas is that I actually knew a Stolas many years ago.It also doesn't help that she is a woman, and as proven on this show, women in Helluva Boss are barely given any development and are side track by the men on the show. @Cave Fisher is proven right yet againWhat irritates me the most about Stolas is that I actually knew a Stolas many years ago.
Seriously, Stolas is probably the worst person, morally, in the show, because everyone else does a bunch of cartoon shit that doesn't really happen in the real world (Even Valentino is just a caricature of what a 15 year old thinks a pimp is.) but I'm sure a ton of people, possibly even here, have met a Stolas before and seen firsthand just how exhausting they can be to deal with.
That is heartbreaking for the kids and the husband. I have to wonder what the thought processes for these people are for every choice they make. I know the final thought is likely ‘I deserve to be happy’ which I am starting to think is the most cancerous thought to ever infect the human race, but still. She had two kids. That’s just vile. The worst part is, there are people that would read this and think the wife liberated herself. What irritates me the most about Stolas is that I actually knew a Stolas many years ago.
My family was friends with a young lady many years ago. She meets a nice guy and they get married. They had a beautiful wedding, buy a brand new house, and had two healthy little boys. They invited us to their house a few times, we invited them to ours and so on. I used to think they were a good couple, downright idyllic even. Then one day they separated. What happened? Well turns out the wife "discovered" she was a lesbian and ran off with another woman. The children, the eldest barely seven years old, were left sobbing asking their father where Mom was.
Stolas belongs in a gulag.
I honestly can't say. It was completely out of the blue to be honest. I was much younger then and I tried to put the affair out of my mind as much as possible. One thing I need to ask, when you say “Discovered” was she just bi, was she always a lesbian and she forced herself to marry a dude she never wanted to be with, or was her lesbianism more of a rage against the machine, and running off with a woman was the best way to say fuck tradition, norms and the patriarchy?
