In S1 Tai left because "he bwoke the fishtank," and was awarded $50k in a fake ceremony then for S2 they came up with some sexual harassment thing against Tayleigh after their dinner date. In reality he was booked for a stand up comedy session somewhere in Texas and had to fly home.
