"It was the democrats fault Trump sucked ass in responding to the pandemic!"
Will you ever stop being a coping bitch?

(but then gain I don't recall ANY government that handled COVID fine)

As I pointed out, the main guy in charge of the response was literally going out of his way to hype doomerism and underplay Trump's victories. Remember when NYC claimed it was getting fucked, Trump sent a navy hospital ship and they refused to use it? Remember the same people who were pushing for public gatherings like restaurants and bars giving the OK for public gatherings for BLM?

Its possible for a motivated Republican to do the same at the national level.
I disagree. The federal government is purposefully left out of the election process. It is left up to the States, particularly the Legislatures thereof. No President can do anything about elections other than propose policy. It is up the States themselves to enact it.

Trumpsissies...the FRENCH have spoken...

It's truly over.

But in seriousness, lets actually take this poll seriously.
>Nice
Well, obviously 'Mala wins just by not being Trump, he is a born hater and trash talker through and through
>Brave
Not sure what they mean by brave, I'd argue Trump is the braver one by being far more outspoken and willing to test the adversaries of the US
>Close to concerns
We haven't seen proof if Kamala cares about the working class at all, but Trump isn't really either, he's a fucking billionaire after all and implemented policies like corporate tax cuts to score favors with his peers of the business-owning elite.
>Dynamic
What the fuck does this mean?, no seriously what do they mean by that?
>Able to bring Americans together
True, Harris is simply put, a really boring and unremarkable politician, and that makes her the best candidate at the moment to cool off both sides of the isle, Trump is an objectively far more polarizing figure, you love him or ya hate him, its hard to be indifferent to a man of that personality type
>Arrogant
True, one of Trump's core personality traits is that he's the best at something, doesn't matter which, he WILL brag about it, it depends on the situation if its actually warranted or not.
>Worrying
I know its because Trump threatened to abandon NATO this january, but come on, that was a scare tactic to make europeans get of their asses and actually contribute to the defense pact, fucking pansies.
>Authoritarian
You know, I didn't exactly recall gays, muslims, lefties, and (insert "marginalized" group here) being put in camps when he was president, and democracy seems to still be a thing in the US, so umm
You need to think of it from the French perspective— what do THEY want in an American president?
They don't give a shit about our serious domestic issues, they only care about our foreign policy. But when you remember that they only hear about our elections through state propaganda, a lot of it makes more sense.

>Nice (To France)
Harris wins easy. Trump wants to put tariffs on their imports.
>Brave (Won't pursue peace with Putler and will denounce Isreal)
Again, Kamala wins. Trump wants to end the wars, but he's not doing the retarded moral posturing an virtue signaling about muh genocide in Gaza and muh Ukraine is vital to our democracy.

The rest are along the same lines— a Trump victory hurts France while a Kamala victory at worst maintains the status quo.

Caffeine doesn't help if they send the observers home before they pull out secret boxes of ballots and start counting. (That was Atlanta in 2020, but since they got away with it Detroit will have learned the trick by now.)
1. They don't have covid and "social distancing" to fall back on this time.

2. Republican poll workers are motivated this time. I don't think they'll willingly just go home when they're told.

I think JD Vance might be the best VP candidate in modern history. He isn't the kind of guy you typically expect in modern politics: highly capable and intelligent. I have personally seen several real time epiphanies take place where normies whose only exposure to him have been MSM hit pieces and calling him weird, be forced to admit that he is an incredibly well spoken and reasonable guy.
It's funny, I still remember when people thought Vance was a horrible-to-middling pick when it just got announced.
Really shows what impulsive reactions are worth.

PS: If you're drafting post 180000, please make it VERY American.

I was telling people Vance was based from the start. I don't see what people ever had against the guy. I mean people really wanted Trump to pick the fuckin pajeet? Blegh.

The fact that the election is this close should tell you something. Hate to doom pill but I agree that this is the last chance a republican has of winning. I hope Trump can do alot in the next 4 years, but the question is what then in 2028?
This election is an existential matter for BOTH parties. If Trump wins, the Democrats as they stand today (aka Obama’s party) are done. The rumors are that at least a handful of Dem congresscritters have already made backroom deals and will flip R in the event of a Trump victory. If that actually happens, it’s literally game over - the party realignment that’s been happening will officially be cemented as Americans-first populists (Republicans) versus uniparty globohomo warmongers (Democrats).

The biggest worry regarding Trump’s legacy and the future of MAGA was always his successor. JD Vance has quelled most of those worries. If Trump wins and doesn’t fuck up his second term, I think we’re pretty much locked in for 2 terms of Vance afterwards.

That’s what people don’t realize: that during the scamdemic, Trump did what he could within reason. He respected federalism and gave states the tools to deal with a “pandemic.” It’s not his fault that some states used that “pandemic” to put the peons under house arrest while the Big Health Issue of Racism entitled People of Crime to do whatever they wanted. Some states were so concerned about the spread in vulnerable populations that they put sick patients back into nursing homes.

DeDantis turned a swing state that he barely won (seriously look up how close his first election was against someone arguably worse than Kamala) into a solid red state with election reform and by knee capping election bullshit. Its possible for a motivated Republican to do the same at the national level.
Didn’t his opponent get caught at a gay orgy on meth?
