This ladies and gentlemen is what cognitive dissonance looks like. You have no idea what dehumanizing is but his rant was a pretty apt non dehumanizing look at political polarization. The sad part is you probably think of yourself as the true and honest good side.

Imagine trying to tone police people on Kiwi Farms, of all places. I would sooner read a thread over 9,000 pages sperging about Jews, or Russia, or Captain Planet than one page of tone policing.

Also the ad is funny. If you want to rule people up to vote against someone, it’s a bad idea to portray them as a funny character out of a 1980ies high school flick.
