Ah yeah, forgot about the narcissism factor, too. Milquetoast people want to be special and often take the easiest route to achieve it. They're also the same people who weren't told "no" enough by their parents.
The worst thing you can do with trannies is give them the attention they seek. It is their sole reason to keep existing. It doesn't matter who they get fired, or blacklisted, or cancelled, whatever. Just don't try to reason or engage with them.

Fans of dwarf romance, your dreams have coom true.

In the book The Masked Empire by Patrick "Qunari Enjoyer" Weekes specifically had Celine and Briala getting their freak on. That's why they hate one another's guts in Dragon Age Inquisition: Celine betrayed her and her people in a power move, and then thought Briala would understand and get back to munching her rug. Shocker: Briala wouldn't.

FUCKING EW.
Even that one tumblr-redesigned dwarven woman looks better than this shit.

Bioware really just wants erasure of women in their games. The only pretty women have to be trannies, no normal women allowed.

Veilguard, the game with both a shortstack and a muscle mommy and somehow managed to make both of them completely unappealing to the point of nauseating.

Origins was clearly inspired by A Song of Ice and Fire and other gritty fantasy stories that were showing up in nerd circles around that time. Grounded in politics and other motivations that arise from the world and the setting. Meanwhile, Veilguard is inspired by the contemporary idea of fantasy where it's all just magic and flashy stuff and there's an overall idea that it should be pure naked escapism and anything goes because you can't gatekeep anything because it's a fantasy, chud. There's a trailer for Veilguard where Rook tells people to "Suit up" which is ridiculous and demonstrates that the writers weren't even thinking about the expressions characters should and shouldn't use in their setting (hence, Taash growling about being "non-binary.")

And Rook himself saying he loves being trans, if you watch one of the newer clips.

This shit immediately takes me out of the fantasy world, which, I assume, is exactly why the festering swine who wrote it want it there: they refuse to let you have a scrap of escapism. The Agenda uber alles.

This is an absolutely pants on head retarded theory, but could EA be astroturfing the games success somehow? Like how most New York Times Best Sellers from political talking heads are just bought in droves by their network and then left to rot in boxes. Something like that but with steam sales. I can't recall ever talking to someone who was excited for this game that wasn't also terminally online in the worst ways. It just doesn't smell right.

At the end of the day, once the flames of the culture war die down, the thing that will truly condemn Veilguard to obscurity won't be it's watered down gameplay, the lore-rape, its almost non-existent C&C options or its ham-fisted social commentary, but the fact that they decided to focus hard on romance, sexual identity and teenage drama while at the same time having absolutely unfuckable companions to choose from and to have an almost prudish approach to their sex scenes (at least when compared to BG3). It's sad but true.

EA is hoping that pirates and hate-streamers will give them free advertising, and that the paid reviews will somehow convince the nigger cattle that BIOWARE IS BACK!
It's not going to work, but these suits don't actually know how the industry works. Looking forward to EA getting the Volition special.

It's a theater kid's idea of fantasy where it's just humans with face paint and costumes. They have no life experience to draw on to write actual characters either. Worst of all worlds: lack of creativity and no appreciation or knowledge of the centuries of literature. WTF do humanities degrees even teach these days? Glad I did a math degree and just read tons of books instead.

Cultural appropriation is ok if the race-swaps are acceptable. The ambient culture is identical to that of very specific areas of coastal US cities + Toronto, how milquetoast. It's slathered in safe horny and the least interesting sexual content. Porn's at least not trying to hide that it's for titillation. Such a boring way to write.

At least LLMs are good enough to replace this piss-tier writing so we can only hope that EA fires all these clowns.

Alistair is a fucking moron
Kind of indisputable when you consider the fact that he cedes control of the party to the PC who has been a Grey Warden for all of like an hour maybe two.
I didn't even see people doing it for Inquisition, to be honest.
Well any that was had was for Solas, the lone interesting main character in the game.

Listening to one of the cutscenes, you could so hear Ali Hillis(Harding)'s voice, she wasn't even trying. I didn't even know that was Ali Hillis originally, but she isn't even intoning to make any difference.

Neve is the only remotely attractive female companion(I never thought Harding was good looking anyway?).

Also, can I say how nice it is that Origins, a game that was released almost twenty years ago, still sparks this kind of heated, nuanced discussion about character motivations, world politics and what was the right and proper thing to do.

I can't see people EVER doing the same for Veilguard or its characters.

I didn't even see people doing it for Inquisition, to be honest.
Inquisition is somewhat replayable.

Romances
Orlais and Pope choices
There is some difference between Inquisitors, along with mage or templar choices.
Playing a rogue or mage is a very different experience.

Thing is, DAI exists basically to set up Solas, and now that's out the window. And any worldbuilding stuff you did is going to be handwaved/condensed anyway.

All endings and the post-credit scene in a single video!
So...redeem Solas, trick Solas, force Solas to hold back the sky, and...everyone dies and Solas is imprisoned anyway.

That's it, if you wanted to know the game's endings folks, there you go. Solasmancer fangirls, you can go home now.

All those years of Eggheadmancer fanfiction and art and smut... wasted. It breaks the heart.

The Inquisitor showing up was, I admit, a nice touch. I can see a bit of Matty's point that the ending shows what the game could have been. But is this from a romance? She just said they were friends, once. Could they possibly have neglected a Solas romance that badly?

Haha, of course they could have.

So apparently you fight the archdemon Razikale in a boss fight in the first phase of the game. What about Lusacan? Apparently all the old gods are killed, so there were two left, not one?

I've not heard any mention of Lusacan.

Just checking off lore bits and seeing if they wrapped everything up or not.

All those years of Eggheadmancer fanfiction and art and smut... wasted. It breaks the heart.
It turns out bald rebel trickster gods weren't husbando material after all. No happily ever after for our Lady Lavellan though.
