I kinda do want him to lose his kids because if he keeps them and is this type of person, the kids will wind up more fucked up than he is. Kids are very impressionable and I think most people would be surprised at the kind of "life models" they pick up just from being around adults. The kids don't deserve this shit, they didn't ask to have neglectful parents who don't even clean the damn house or do laundry. They didn't ask to have some maniac in the basement wasted and high screaming into the microphone about whatever the fuck. They'd probably be better off if they were the kids of an auto mechanic or a plumber living in a low-middle income home than they are with this "affluent lawyer" in his big house who doesn't give a shit about them and complains even about the time it takes to pawn them off on others to raise.

Even the absolute best case scenario has Nick and Kayla being neglectful, distant and irresponsible parents; I feel for the kids regardless of what's 'really' happening, the situation can't be good for their development. We can only hope they have that rare experience where instead of following in their parents footsteps, they become benchmarks for what not to do in life.
