Off topic but I remember her being in with the geeks and gamers and Nerdrotic crew back when I first started watching Rekieta. Nothing to base this on but I wonder if her being a shithead is why she is on EVS streams and not the more popular shows for that genre?
If you mean Chrissie, she's still on FNT which is bewildering. Mostly because she's unfunny, has almost nothing to say about the topic, and her voice grates on your nerves. But I guess any port in a storm and women are hard to come by who have the same politics and kinda the same interest (i.e. grifting nerds for their simp bucks). It's just funny to me that she's obviously a "fake geek girl" but because she leans more right of center, everyone in that sphere praise her - if she had been more left, they would dog pile her.

But she's still very much on their show, despite them having a one-sided fight with EVS and his group (namely they mostly ignore it). They also disavowed Rekieta's actions, while she ran guard for it. Keep in mind, it's not like friends can't disagree, but sometimes Chrissie will bolster retards like Mint Salad who is with Clippaverse, the most direct adversary to Rippa who is a huge friend of the FNT G+G crowd.

So who fucking knows.

If you mean Anna, she's always been on EVS' side, but she can play nice sometimes, and again, like with Chrissie, a mid bitch with tits gets the simp bucks. So I guess she gets a pass

Now i know it's bad form to be judging men's tastes in women but, what the fuck where either of them thinking in creating this trashfire over a woman that looks like this?
And on that note, just what did nick already DO to kayla to get her looking like a fallout ghoul years prior?

Nick's a manipulator that targets women that aren't all there mentally because they're easier to control

But I sometimes think there's a lack of understanding of civics in modern American society. There's the law you have, and the law you wish you had.

The problem with those people is that don't see any distinction between the two. They tend to either believe (Barnes style) that everyone is entitled to their own private interpretation of what the constitution means. Or they believe that the "true" constitution intended in 1789 was never actually implemented. That "original intent" lies outside the entire history of the united states back to day one and can only be discovered through modern textual analysis.

Its not that they don't understand civics. Its usually that they explicitly reject it and the entire history of the united states. Often the problem is more with people who engage with them or debate them not fully understanding what these people's beliefs actually are. They are not conservatives or even reactionaries. There is no "good time" in American history that they are trying to restore because to them there was never a proper government in the United States. They reject everything back all the way to Washington.

Sorry I should have been more specific. I meant TSWG. I know that she has always been cool with Ethan, but I think that Ana had more appearances back in the day with geeks and gamers. I remember Jeremy Griggs (spelling?) white knighting for her a few times.

What the FUCK is this one last thing he's been instructed to hold back all this time, and why the FUCK is it taking the state so long to do anything about it? Or have they done something about it in a way we can't see, like some new rumblings in the CHIPS case since it was sealed, or like a fourth criminal file that nobody here found the court file number for yet?
I'm assuming it has something to do with the child abuse charge on Kayla's initial charges. A lot of people forgot about this: Kayla had been charged with something along the lines of "neglect in response to child abuse (either physical or sexual, unspecified)" (Basically, she knew that one or more of her kids was being either physically or sexually abused and did nothing). But no one was else was charged with anything. Neither Nick nor April nor anyone else were charged with any sort of child abuse. I assume that there is reason to believe that there was some sort of child abuse (probably to Nick) that has not been charged yet. I'm sure that this is what Aaron is referring to.

Whatever impending explosion may occur, it might not even be related to whatever is going on with him right now. It's crazy to think about how much he's been spiraling as of late, and it's most definitely not due to the court case. Sean had a theory about Kayla bringing other dudes to the house, which would explain a lot.
I hope that's not true. It's not surprising that Nick hasn't changed (and at this point, I'm not convinced he deserves a second chance at fatherhood), but I really want Kayla to change. Yes, she did awful things and participated in a lot of evil. But, it would be much better for the kids if at least she could get her shit together. It would be ideal if Nick would as well, but we know he won't at this point.

She tried to be on both sides for a while, but in the Eric July (and Yellow Flash) thing she and everyone else in Ethan Van Sciver's comicsgate had to eventually choose a side. Ethan Van Sciver demands absolute loyalty when he goes to war and she fell into line like the rest of them. I don't think any of it matters to her anymore anyway in the aftermath of her wedding to that old man.

It got a lot of traction in the weeks after the arrests. I think what's pissing Nick off is it being revived as a topic of discussion. He assumed that people would have moved on from caring about the polycule, the drugs, and the neglect charges and 6 months on they're still major topics of discussion as he heads into a month of more legal shit.

Nick is furious that people are discussing his failings in glorious detail again, and perhaps starting to realise that the internet will never let him forget them. There will be no "moving on".
The breaking point seemed to be that superchat humiliation by Chad Zumock. It was afterwards where he went on twitter as a ITG, calling everyone NERDS

BREAKING NEWS!

As of November 1st, Nick Rekieta is no longer authorized to practice law in the State of Minnesota!

View attachment 6587095

I don't think he holds a license in any other jurisdiction, either.

NON practicing NON lawyer.

EDIT to add: I anticipated this might finally happen, so I keeping checking this past week (including yesterday), and it flipped over to Not Authorized today.

He's probably got the money, so I think it's the CLE credits that fucked him. Somebody pointed out earlier they were due this year.

(However, if you'd like a good alternate theory, where CLE credits weren't the main issue, see here).

EDIT 2: Archive link added for posterity.
EDIT 3: Added link to post concerning CLE credits requirements.
It's SO over for Nick! :story:

Wow, I came across our wife on this video cover. Should I be shocked?

Agree on most points, I think both are vapid and Anna is a total c u next tuesday but in terms of quality Anna is 2-3 higher than Chrissie, she's a mutt. Anna will likely hit a wall when she drops that kid though but I don't think anyone really simps Chrissie, can't see why they would. Yuck.

Anna used to play a game of working her sisters death for sympathy and I think Jeremy fell for that. He has said he's cool with her and has more or less avoided all the EJ vs EVS shit but I don't think Anna has done much with them. I know Nerdrotic curates FNT heavily and in years of watching intermittently I never saw her on it. Maybe as a guest once...

Anna manages to bridge yellowflash and evs (I haven't watched a lot this last year but I think she's still on). FNT and GG was smart to distance from Nick. Anna, EVS and others went hard for Nick balldowashing and when his kid got busted for coke they were forced into some insane narratives, I dumped everyone associated with that shit. Only Chrissie is on FNT that went with it and I can't stomach her anymore. So many youtubers were revealed as trash.

I'm just convinced that April is the Rekietaverse version of Pantsu...hopefully she doesn't end up pregnant.
Hey now. April may be a homewrecking crack whore with a sour snatch but at least she isn't a genderclown pedophile. Also the non-lawyer can't get anyone pregnant on account of his non-functioning cock so we're good there at least.

Convinced the long con is April will turn. She is nuts, cheated on OG with Aaron then Aaron with Nick.
She will find a new play thing.

Now a normal guy would exit stage right.
Nick will do the usual love bomb then go psycho when rejected. That will be the catalyst for her to info dump.

Matter of when at this point.

Ending B, this ends with Nick being the subject of a true crime podcast.
Taking all bets! I also offer video poker!

The cocaine is CPS' real problem. Once that test result is part of the record (Nick had no hope in Hell of hiding that short of destroying every single copy and log. He may have finally lost that battle.) it becomes a very hard hill to climb. Kids + test result that high + unrepentant behavior from Dad = lots of problems in family court. Plus a whole new world of criminal charges get put on the table. Once there's a finding of feeding your kid street drugs there is no slack and no mercy.

Not a chance. It was pretty well-settled hundreds of pages ago that this had to be a typo fatfingering a subdivision of the statute for a charge that was supposed to be identical to Nick's. In any event, for reasons laid out in both motions by April's lawyer in her case, it would be self-defeating nonsense for the state to try to "sneak in" the statute you mention without also alleging facts showing probable cause to believe the offense occurred, and Kayla's complaint made no such factual allegations:

Rule 2.01 Contents; Before Whom Made
Subd. 1. Contents. The complaint is a written signed statement of the facts establishing probable cause to believe that the charged offense has been committed and that the defendant committed it

That said, it is at least annoying that the state never got around to correcting the typo, and lazy on Kayla's lawyer's part to not have moved to dismiss that count on the above grounds, but both sides probably just didn't bother wasting ink on bringing it up yet because there is still plenty of time to correct it and the issue would probably be made moot by a plea deal between now and the amendment deadline anyway:

Rule 17.05 Amendment of Indictment or Complaint
The court may permit an indictment or complaint to be amended at any time before verdict or finding if no additional or different offense is charged and if the defendant's substantial rights are not prejudiced.
