Here's a thought. Could you civic minded Kiwis help me figure this out.

Could Trump, day one, announce a special prosecutor -- or several, one for each state -- dedicated to investigating Voter Irregularities and Voter Fraud? Just send out some real anal as fuck pencil pusher lawyers to find every single odd irregularity that always just happen to go the Democrat's way, every odd voter fraud issue, etc etc and make a huge stink about it all?

I mean when he wins if he's allowed to take power he's SUPPOSED to be magnanimous in his victory, but this is Trump and fuck them assholes twice, they tried to kill him and the media just happened to show up to film it in 4k Ultra HD. Why shouldn't he go scorched Earth and basically create a huge political pressure wave to force these states to fix their shit?

A better way to do it is to appoint someone to head up the DOJ who is going to do it, and this guy knows who the loyalists in the FBI are that he'll appoint to work the case.

The test will be in a decade or so when January 6th makes it into the education system. As a chapter in the history books when MAGA tried to overthrow the government. Even though that wasn't the intent of it and they had no chance of doing so anyway.
i think they're going to write that stuff in the history books to try and destroy his legacy like they did with Nixon, but unfortunately for them they aren't dealing with a regular politician without an existing legacy, we're talking about donald trump, so it's just going to be really really weird and very obvious for children going forward that it was bullshit. They're going to be reading about how donald trump was a dangerous felon who sent the country into a dark age of racism and fascist ideation and then they're going to go home and watch Home Alone 2 and wonder why the fuck hitler is talking to a wandering child in a hotel in new york

A Special Prosecutor is 0-supposed- to be done through Congress. He can direct his DOJ to pursue this line but to get anywhere would need congressional affirmation.
Got it. So he'd need a friendly enough congress to overpower the Uniparty and their pet RINOs and the political capital and will to actually force the issue through the legions of attack ads that they'd immediately pull on him. Unless they actively find some form of blatant, "yes Kamala knew" level fraud, that's unlikely.

Again, her campaign is a fucking disaster and has highlighted to the public issues that she's flip flopped on unknowingly. They could've ran without a campaign and still done better than they are right now. Sad that she could still become president because of billions burnt on ads and mass calls.

The main thing is it's the Internet Age, when no matter how much they censor, counter-narrative voices can still reach mass volume. Look at how truth about all these things they kept under wraps for decades, like the USS Liberty or Bob Woodward's hack job, has leaked out all over the internet. Even if there is still an "official narrative," it lacks the power it once did.

Trump's success in his second term is going to depend heavily on him getting people who can actually run the bureaucracy. As opposed to letting the Deep State actively subvert him at will, or at best drag their feet and run out the clock.

As we learned in the first Trump administration there is currently almost no recourse for the federal bureaucracy and executive agencies undermining the will of the executive itself. If you try to fire them for lying to you and refusing to work the federal employee union protects them. The people you appoint can be ignored by those under them in every executive agency.

Because it would be impossible to pull off. Special prosecutors don't mean squat--they can be bought off, stymied, threatened, etc, and that's if they were genuine in the first place.

The best way to counteract the fraud is for the populace to get off their butts and get involved in their local and state election processes. It's ridiculous that so many people whine and whinge over fraud while doing NOTHING about it--they don't vote, they don't sign up to work the polls, they don't join their local party, they don't even peek at the process and expect other people to do it for them, then get all huffy and say, "See, I was right, nothing ever happens/works/Repubs are stupid...on and on and on.

If (collective) you haven't done a single thing to be the change you want to see, your opinion is discarded. You lost the right to complain while hiding and letting others fight battles for you.

I still don't see how people can think of J6 as anything that wasn't something really lame.
A wise group of people would shut up about the "peasant revolt that didn't go far enough." Problem is, liberals aren't a wise group of people. Really bad precedent to set in everyone's minds that if you do revolt, go all the way, because you'll be treated as if you did.

Still going on about Jan 6th four years later has almost certainly cost the Dems a lot of votes.

The left are like a nagging spouse when it comes to the subject so why not just make sure it doesn't happen again by re-electing Trump this time?

Academics will forever debate whether Biden's campaign could've been resuscitated after that debate instead of replacing him with Kamala and ultimately done better than she will have.

I mean, Walz has openly said that the 1st Amendment needs to be amended to exclude "hate speech and misinformation".
There's no way this site is online in 2026 if Kamala wins.
We've been though a lot of shit on the farms. I doubt even this would take it down.
1A won't be amended. Not likely in the near future. You would need 2/3rds of the states to ratify it. And it won't happen.

this is true but i'm really looking from the perspective of a non-critical mind or a child, which is probably the most important perspective you want to lock down if you want an effective propaganda strategy. you need to get your foot in the door for all possible avenues of criticism, which is the job of the news media propaganda complex - but their system totally doesn't work if you constantly bring up new events from the past and mythologize them. trump's constant looping around is technically bad speaking and statesmanship but i think it unironically is his biggest asset

this whole election just makes it really obvious that the tools The Powers That Be have to control the population stopped working when obama was president and they didn't even bother looking at it or considering it could possibly be an issue until after trump completely kool-aid man'd through the 2016 election and made a fool out of the DNC.

The latest reddit cope is "Jan 6th has caused this boomer to vote straight blue"
