Who is doing this, and why? Is it Phil, asking the top collaborators to edit his pages? Is this recent or has this been around for some time?

Warski at least I think unironically likes Phil because of how zealously he goutguards for him. PPP I think at least had some kind of plan for milking some content out of him, my theory is thus: just like Keemstar maybe he thought he could revive the King of Hate and point him towards the dramasphere which was part of why they were showing him Sektur stuff during their earliest collabs.

Unfortunately Phil is a massive pussy and will never be able to keep up with the big targets in the dramasphere and PPP already said it himself the biggest problem is it's hard to get Phil to be interesting. He can huff and puff all he wants with this king shit and repeating FELTED FELTED ad nauseam but his attempts at intentionally cutting promos and picking retard slapfights online just feel soulless. There's a reason why "I'LL MAIL YOU A SPOON SO YOU CAN EAT MY SHIT" and "YAKUZA IS LITERALLY BASED ON MY STRUGGLES" rants were pure gold dust and it was because they were unprompted episodes of him lashing out at his viewers and tractors borne out of his mental decline coupled with low financial success.

Off topic, but I was not a fan of Doom Eternal. The story jumped the shark right off the bat by starting you out on this ridiculous space citadel and the game never explains how you got it or where it came from. The combat felt like a downgrade from 2016 to me with the game only letting you carry a fraction of the ammo so you constantly need to replenish with the chainsaw and adding a bunch of cooldown abilities to juggle. They put in a bunch of stupid skins and pozzed up shit (gay unicorn skins?) that left a bad taste in my mouth, just look at this stuff. And there is way, way, way too much platforming.

I also didn't enjoy Doom Eternal. My main issue was how repetitive the gameplay loop becomes if you didn't have the ammo upgrades early on. I get that the game wants you to use the chainsaw and just farm fodder for ammo go LE BRUTAL TEAR AND RIP XD, I just didn't like being forced to do it because I feel like it broke the flow of the game to be forced to stop and the same animation repeat over and over. The game is meant to be played in a way you never stop and always keep shooting, but then you have to stop for ammo. It felt more like a management game with a bit of bullet hell than a shooter.
As someone who played classic Doom, I hate when people try to tell me "that's what Doom is". No faggot, that's what BRUTAL Doom is. New Doom was always based on the Brutal Doom mod. I don't think the game is bad at all, but not what I'd call Doom.

So what's the end game of KC and their dents? Do they just like DSP? They seem to defend him nonstop with some weird promise of a payout, yet it has cost them more than 3k USD in subs and a pretty sizable drop in viewership compared to doing literally anything else.

Not speaking for the retards, but I think we have a sunk-cost fallacy scenario here.
I think KC was really expecting Phil to just accept he is DownFromTheRafters and become a full gacha/drama streamer but they legit underestimated how much of an idiot Phil is and how ultimately mediocre he is as an entertainer that he didn't commit to either. When they had him on waching other lolcow clips you can really tell they're trying to get him involved, but Phil is just so boring they kinda gave up, and when you factor in fags like Doody or other detractors trying to "enlighten" them about Phil, they decided to keep Phil around because they dislike detractors and RTU even more.

I think that, in a way, KC is like Phil in the sense that they will never accept they were wrong. I think they have confirmed some things about Phil they didn't believe at first but won't accept it because that would mean detractors were right.

It was only novel, it had no legs with them. Phil won't ever do what he needs for this crowd to follow him seriously. Phil is still DFTR and everyone knows it. He's lied about it being him for years, he's lied about almost anything really regardless of how significant it is just because he loves to lie about shit. Any statement presented without evidence, especially by a known pathological liar who has been caught out every time can be disregarded without evidence. Secondly, Scopely's rules for their game can be applied or ignored at their own discretion so I don't see how them not banning one of their biggest whale accounts is proof of anything for or against. Thirdly, and most importantly of all, even believing everything that DSP says is true in regards to the situation, he still has another private account that you can't track and he's free to whale out on as much as he wants anonymously. So whenever he inevitably begs for lunchmeat sandwiches again at some future date, he's still been putting thousands of dollars a month down the gacha-hole. Which was the whole point of contention to begin with. Whatever account is really his doesn't matter because he's still throwing money away while begging the retards in his audience for money, crying poor.

Which personally I don't really care about. If retards want to give their money aways its their problem. If it wasn't Phil, it'd be some other scammer or online internet personality taking their money.

And it slowly spelled out his full name, DftR? Someone in the video said he pussied out and I totally agree. He probably planned to confess it fully, but in the last minute he changed his mind and decided he will lie about it and say he sold it.

Upon further research that writer is an idiot who can't interpret what DSP said back in the day. Blip.tv wrote him that he had MULTIPLE racial insults in his commentary and they were LIKE the ones he was send a link for. Also his Let's Plays were not up to Blip.tv's standards. I bet they were either about to fire him or at the very least give him a serious talking to. Also last point: Blip.tv called his commentary "meandering and random. I love it when Phil makes those American Adult Problems that millions deal with into scenarios where he is somehow most affected. It used to infuriate me until I realized how much of a lizard person he makes out of himself whenever he’s like that. He’s been hidden away behind his walls for so long that he’s utterly forgotten how normal Americans live, and I only phrase it like that because Phil has never remotely experienced what life is like in any other country on Earth.

Null made far less hay about DST and he streams simultaneously on several times more platforms than Phil does. How does Springing Foward fuck with a man who probably hasn’t seen a sunrise in going on two decades? He’s such an alien and it makes me laugh so much.

I disagree, I think this was his plan throughout. Phil has been consistent with refusing to admit that account is his, probably for tax/bankruptcy reasons, while *hint hint* saying stuff like he's of course been playing Champions for 7 years.

Phil's modus operandi is making up stupid wrestling-like storylines and working them into his compulsive lying. He just sucks at it.
