Since I just recently started following the Nick shit more closely, it will be interesting to know if she was always so affected like on those Laverne videos from your post. It´s so uncanny, I cant decide if she is acting up because she is camera shy and overcompensating or if she is an alien trying to imitate valley girls traits because that was what she witnessed at first contact with earthlings.

Kayla has always been more interesting to me than Nick, mostly because Nick is fairly straightforward after one learns to how far to drop their expectations.

Kayla acting up is partly her playing to her audience (some people got really excited when she was on), part her own ego, and part because she doesn't respect Nick or what he does which is why she sometimes makes it a point to kill the momentum of the stream (stepping on Nick's "jokes" and generally acting distracted).

When Kayla does get a wakeup call after the fact, she will retreat and become more defensive before doing it all over again because she never really learns.

It has already been pointed out that it is unlikely that the $274 fee is that the reason that Nick allowed his law license status to slip, but rather the corresponding continuing education credit hours (someone said 45 hours) that are also required to keep his license in good standing. Nick was too busy snorting coke, getting thrown in jail, filing BS legal motions, arguing on twitter, and paying scumbags to read super chats so he didn't have time to get his education hours done. That's how sharp of a lawyer he is. Kiwi prudes owned again.

*Personal anecdote, I know a retired lawyer in his 80's that still manages to get his continuing education hours done and keep his license valid. He is in some rough physical shape but he still manages it. He was also an engineer before becoming a lawyer, something else that Nick gave up on. Ironically he is also from Minnesota.

I'm not a psychologists but this would seem to fit his narcissism. He puts himself at the center and everything that happens to him is either due to his greatness (the good things) or the jealousy and animus that others harbor (the bad things). His belief seems to be that everything that ever goes wrong in his life is due to vengeful spite other hold against him. He is angry at cops, judges, church people, social workers, lawyers that represent people that is suing him, etc. I suspect he anthropomorphizes that vengeful spite onto animals and machines.
