You can tell she wanted to make him be a white guy and would have if ass mad twitter losers hadn't bitched and moaned about voodoo being a darky religion or some bullshit.
His voice actor is either middle-eastern Arab or very tanned, and they're not allowed to have cartoon characters voiced by someone of a different ethnicity than the character.

Sir Pentious finds Heaven boring and would rather be in Hell? How original and groundbreaking.
Wait, so Alastor died the day after he made the deal? Are you sure this wasn't a major coincidence? Did she plan to have him killed as soon as possible? Was it just the worst case of bad timing ever? It's interesting yet infuriating to understand, especially since this is all that we got from this scene thus far.
To be fair, selling your soul only to die not long after the deal is a common trope and it would be appropriate.

So Pentious got sent to Hell just because he saw Jack the Ripper and decided not to report it? Pretty fucking lame.

If you're going with the inventor backstory and not the military one that some theorized because of his behavior in the finale, I would have had him be a fairly stereotypical factory manager from that time, not blinking at the idea of throwing his workers into extremely hazardous working conditions in the name of 'efficiency' and utilizing child labor.

I wish they had done that. That really is a better idea wtf.

Think the leaks are coming to a halt because of threats of lawsuits from Amazon. They should have just made a mega drive or something of everything going they got and then peaced out.
That’s what it sounds like.

So, the conflict this season is that the first man is murdered, no one cares about the implications this puts forth, nor that he was murdered which somehow includes his own son, except for Lute who is still making a lot of sense. Meanwhile, the snake is swarmed by Twitter users that love him for some reason, and hates it because the people he’s known for six months are still alive. Allistor and has to deal with Rosie or Eve or Lilith, and three morons that really have no business being a threat considering they are a Tik-Tok Star, Nick Fuentes, and the average Porn Producer, while Charlie sees what it’s like to be a conservative christian when it comes to the MsM.

Everyone is saying “Wow redemption is possible!” and no one is asking: What were his sins? (They do but, this goes to a greater point) If another person with greater, lesser or different sins, did the same, would they also make it? Is this type of act possible in hell as it stands? how does anyone know this isn’t a fluke VS a consistently repeatable result.

And what were the logistics of his redemption? Last I check this asshole was an overlord, or the very least a war monger. He was pathetic and a total loser, but still. So, what, six months at the place, when he has no where else to go, and that’s redemption? When did he actually address what his sin in life was? Sure he made friends, but his inaction killed 5 people. Who knows what he did in hell before hand. So, what, so long as you have a sob story and hate hell, and then sacrifice yourself in a way that changes absolutely nothing if you weren’t there (Someone please correct me if I’m wrong on that one); that’s deserving of heaven? So one good act erases a lifetime of evil so long as you’re pathetic and a loser? Like, what I’m assuming is a god expy is like, ‘yeah, you’re totes good my child, in your last moment you cared.’ What about every other moment of his life? Is that going to get brought up?

Yeah, I was expecting dude being some unethical boss breaking every moral code that he could squeeze out. He got to hell because he reasonably couldn't stop a mass killer? There wasn't even more context to the whole backstory beside "I got to hell because I was a bystander to a murder I possibly couldn't stop". Does this imply anyone who doesn't stop a dude with a knife or a gun deserves to go to hell? It makes no sense whatsoever. What a waste of a backstory. What a waste of a way to explore a character that even the most passionate Vivzieverse haters tolerate. Utterly deplorable.

Lute made so much sense and I was nodding like mad with everything she said. Yet she's being treated as delusional as if she doesn't know what she's talking about. And why do I get the feeling Sera's only being pressured into stopping the exterminations? What good does stopping the exterminations do? The sinners of Hell won't exactly suffer in torture. They'll just live a lawless life of selfishness, excessive debauchery, adultery, all the sins they can do. Without any consequences at all. No real suffering.

Again, just makes hell feel less of a place that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, and more of a place I WOULD recommend to my enemy cause my enemy can do whatever he wishes there!

How are they not seeing this?! How?? WHY-

Sigh. Can't wait to see more leaks that'll disappoint me in more ways than one.

If this were a better written series, the ones that are calling for the termination of the extermination would get blindsided by the TV man organizing a rebellion, Lute would have her "told ya so, you naive fucking retards!" moment, and the rebels would get quashed. Then, maybe afterwards, the idea and process of redeeming sinners could be scrutinized and a pipeline figured out for the >1% of sinners who actually want to change their eternity in hell for something else.

Of course, what I think is going to happen is Adam is going to be the Le Bad guy, say something near the end of the season like "oh I was just using you Lute, I don't actually care about you", and so on and so forth. Maybe he's been in kahoots with Lillith or whatever all along. Something to make him irredeemable, because people aren't allowed to like him.

I know it's a stupid cartoon, but since we're basing stuff on IRL stuff I'm talking about it. Reporting him would have done jackshit anyway, one of the largest reasons The Ripper was never caught was because it was one of, if not the first murder spree that caused widespread media attention and captured the attention of millions. The result was that you had obscene amounts of people looking for attention and giving false testimonies to a police force that wasn't used to this sort of thing, and of course the famous letters are universally considered to now be faked too.

Pentious being the way he is, claiming some rich and powerful client of his did it, probably would have been shooed out of the police station and have his name written alongside thousands of other suspects.

Eh, I kind of see it though. Probably going to get into the troupe of "No one judges you into Hell, you send yourself there by truly believing it's where you belong." That's why Adam could be in Heaven despite not being a goody-goody. He was ultimately convinced of his virtue beyond all else. I thought Vivzie might have done a twist where he never ate the apple and therefore for was oblivious to sin or guilt and thus allowed to be there on a technicality, but that doesn't seem necessary now.

Pentious went to Hell because he felt overly bad for not reporting what he saw, even if it might not have mattered. I guess you could argue it was a variant on sloth, but I think it just might be "God sends you to a place your soul seems to fit by vibes. If you're a debbie downer, you go to Hell to enjoy your pessimistic, edgy society. That's also why he feels so stifled in Heaven.

It's how she can have a Hell that doesn't have Hitler or pedophiles or anyone that objectionable. They just go to super-hell or oblivion... but Angel is probably there because he feels bad for being in a mob family or harbors internalized homophobia. Like deep inside he feels like he's bad for how he liked dicks and drugs and deserved to burn for that, so allowing himself to be in a wholesome relationship with Husk might actually be what frees him at the end or at least gives him a peace in Hell.

Alastor as the serial killer who kills bad people from what I heard, so it's halfway okay, and he made a deal. Again, that kind of softens and excuses him, although the clips we saw definitely make him come off as more a petty, bitter asshole. I also hate the tiny mustache on his human form. Hideous. They did make him look more mixed race from his old design in some livestream, which is very important to current day... but was the horrid little mustache very 1930s Creole?

I haven't watched either series since HH's first season finally aired so for a second, I mixed up Rosie with Mimzy, and was extremely baffled, and amused that a tiny, fat flapper girl was actually Satan's wife the entire time.
