It all ends up being some way of Quinn trying to make herself sound like some expert despite the fact that what she claims to help her learn programming has nothing to do with programming. It's all just to make her sound relevant and like someone whose very skilled.

I mentioned this Jake Alley's thread before - Chelsea doesn't dare block Jake because he's a member of the Rat King (a loser on the outer fringes, but a True and Honest Woman nonetheless). If she blocked Jakey, he'll start screaming "transphobe", and the Rat King will hatemob her like they did with Jessie Singal ( I call this "getting Singaled Out").

With all the hits her image has taken lately (the UN fuck up, the CON leaks, her sperging against Nintendo over a Watergate joke), Chelsea can't afford to incur the wrath of the Troon Brigade, lest she end up in the SJW shitlist along with Brianna Wu. So the smartest move is just to mute Jake, and he can continue to entertain the delusion that his senpai/waifu doesn't respond because she's too busy or feels unworthy to speak to her Jakey-san.

She and Anita Scamkessian were asked to talk in front of the UN council to address "bullying on the internet" or some shit like that. Basically, Anita did most of the talking while Chelsea farted around on her fucking phone like a 9 year old that can't stop playing Candy Crush for 5 minutes.

They supported their argument by citing a report that was so embarrassingly inept, Chelsea distanced herself from it as soon as people realized how retarded the report was. It was full of flawed, misreported, and biased info, contained a fuckton of errors or missing data, and - this is the best part - cited links to C:/ drives. Who the fuck goes before the UN without properly vetting something so pivotal to their case beforehand?

This was when the tide started to turn against "gamergate's biggest victims". After this, Anita started to slowly slide away from bitching about video games, with the release schedule for her "Tropes" videos becoming even more sporadic and the run times becoming much shorter than usual. Chelsea laid low until the mockery died down and rarely (if ever) refers to it, and hasn't stuck her nose in politics since.
