britbong gives his thoughts about the election
I was catching up with the thread until i found this video.
And my inner Null or Ernest King rose in fury, and I’m not even American!
What a repugnant, arrogant people the British are. How they feign poshness, living beyond their means. They transitioned from an imperial federation to a deindustrialized island, one that had lower living standards than Germany in the 1950s—a Germany that was occupied, divided, burdened by war reparations, and subjected to a policy of dismantling its remaining industry. A Germany that had millions of expellees to resettle and feed.
The British always seem to think they are superior to Americans, despite being their subordinates since 1941, when they had to plead for assistance against an enemy they themselves had provoked by antagonizing Germany from the early 1900s to the 1940s.
And your moral arrogance? It is beyond infuriating. How you despise your own legacy and race, selling it out to Pakistanis and Bangladeshis who now rule over you and indoctrinate your children with self-loathing, while they suffer violence at the hands of their immigrant classmates. Yet you hold your head high, as if you are entitled to the legacy of men like Wellington, Drake, or Nelson. You deride Americans as foolish, despite the fact that two generations of Americans bled and died across Europe for you, providing you with interest-free weapons, food, and ships. You then repaid them by attempting to drag America into a potential World War III by invading Egypt without cause, clinging to your bankrupt empire and sense of importance, even though you couldn’t defeat a country that had fewer trucks in its army in 1940 than in 1914 and was utterly incapacitated less than six years before World War II.
And yet you fail to convincingly feign your arrogance. You insist on a 1940s dress code for college, but you can’t even wear a tie properly. You sprinkle big words into your rants in an attempt to sound educated, like someone trained in oratory back when it was not a crime to be so in the 1910s. Instead, you come across as a raving madman, ranting about an election in an empty park like a meth-addled schizophrenic, while a woman and her children look at you with pity from afar.
