Oh, they're definitely not in the US but there are plenty of Western countries where young Indian professionals have no trouble prospering. Post-Google, Nina could have gone pretty much anywhere in the world. Stuffing up with US immigration may or may not have cut off those other options.

Greta making conflicting statements in the media is surely going to help Nina's case.

So everything in this story is bullshit because it's entirely 'Greta said'. Did the 'journalist' call the California records burea to verify the records were destroyed? If the records were destroyed, why didn't Greta do something about it quickly since El Niño's immigration status was on the line?

So many questions, none of them asked to Greta because they needed a sob story instead of facts. This is why no one trusts the media anymore, they don't do their damn jobs because it would destroy ~the narrative~.

Edit: good ol Greta can't stop with the threats and bullying. 'If they fuck with her they're fucking win their jobs.' Something tells me that's not going to happen, especially with Trump becoming president in 22 days. Bye El Niño!

That's because Greta probably won't finalise the divorce else she'd have to pay child support etc. to the sprogs she lumbered on her wife and then abandoned, so she can't marry Nina legally. That's wholesale lying. How many times has she called Nina her wife despite not being able to marry her because Greta is already wed? And did not Greta exploit this misapprehension to make it look like they were being persecuted by the cis-tem?

First, they say Nina's Indian passport identifies her as male (wait, wasn't the passport one of the documents being sent to her? Er, him. Did he have it on him or not?), then they say the problem is proving Greta's divorce. But that only means their marriage isn't legal and, as has been pointed out elsewhere in the thread, being legally married wouldn't make Nina legal anyway, it would only suggest the kind of visa he could have applied for, way back when he should have applied for legal status.

Greta's narrative is bogus. Who can trust anything he says at this point. Also, Nina was quoted in Ana article saying India just recognized trannies as a third gender. There's no case for asylum and it's bullshit saying he would be arrested for being gay.

Reading the way they're spinning this article is particularly interesting after everything that's been covered regarding immigration law in this thread. Either they're being blatantly disingenuous or did zero research before publishing. Probably some combination of both.

Also lol at "gays can't get married" being considered grounds for asylum.
