Stuff made at home will be more expensive so low information consumers default to the slave labored made goods. There ARE US companies that are trying, but goodwill only protects you so much from China, Taiwan, and India flooding the market with inferior, but way cheaper shit.

It's not moot. States have until late November or early December (depending on the state) to certify the election. Theoretically they could still pull some shenanigans and flip the right states to give Kamala 270 EVs instead. Although it's unlikely as I think there just aren't enough votes left in the states that she'd need even if they gave her 100% of them and adding more might look too obvious. Although if they did add more and it was obvious and pointed out the courts would still have to agree to reject those votes rather than just ignore the fraud like they did with the 2020 election.

Not necessarily. A lot of money is eaten up with the transport of goods and the middlemen involved. Local production can completely cut that out of it's allowed to.

Rome didnt have colonies in North Africa until after the Punic Wars, and not to mention the Scipios were among the most well known families in Rome with a heavily documented lineage.

He was too young and small for most of the early phases of the Punic Wars, such as the period with Cannae, he got recognition due to the father and uncle in Iberia, and later he himself going to the Iberian Front, which was years after Cannae.
