Honestly, this is quickly stopping to be funny to me. This is well beyond normal spergery and I genuinely feel like a portion of the USA have gone genuinely insane. These people would rather burn the entire country down than admit they sent themselves into hysterics and no amount of reasoning can change their minds.

On the other hand, it's hard to feel sympathy since these people sing a different tune when they think they have the upper hand.

It got sickening really quickly. Adults in the room btw.

Part of it is brainwashing and trickle-down lunacy, but it's tiring. They got their way for over four years. Everyone suffered for it. Now that they got some hard and fast consequences for once, they skipped over surprisedpikachu.png and jumped to outright tantrums. I can't stress enough that it makes me sick. For the longest time, my vote meant less than theirs. I had less of a voice than some spoiled skank in Princeton, or Trenton. Hell, even NYC and San Frangeles on a national scale. Hopefully this too shall pass.

The house was a long-shot. It's not over yet but we're projected to take at least 213 seats. That gives the Dems a very slim majority. We'll be okay, but it would be nice to take the house as well.

Edit: Tbc I still think we'll win the house, and right now we have very solid chances of getting 218—I the one is WA is two GOP members running against each other, so 214 is certain. I'm just saying even if we don't take the House the Republicans are in a pretty decent situation right now.

Not to mention that Trump allegedly has back room deals for some Democrats to cross the aisle. If enough house members switch over the House could suddenly turn red in January. I wouldn't count on it though.
