despite the fun sounding title, DoE is one of the newer departments and is mainly responsible for overriding states about stuff like what should be in the curriculum and mainly focuses on demanding more woke bullshit education. At best they'll set guidelines for the states, but usually those guidelines are so easily surpassed that most states don't have to change much.
DoE is mainly government waste, a place where say they give out billion dollar contracts to prove something is racist.
