Putting prevailing opinions aside on this forum, there was a hilariously low voter turnout this year compared to 2020. If you take a look at Texas:

One of the most conservative states in the nation had 41% of registered voters with no faith in either Trump or Harris, and another 25% for Harris. That leaves roughly a 1/3rd of Texans actually in support of Trump, and I imagine this trend follows for most states Trump won the popular vote in.
My point being: If Trump actually follows through on the advisory laid out in Project 2025 and his administration can rally the Republican majorities to help him implement those policies, I cannot imagine those 41% that remained neutral continuing to remain neutral. His administration can't act too polarizing in office. There's plenty of Americans that will turn on him faster than a spring-loaded mouse trap.

you're right but i suspect the last 8 years battle hardened trump immensely. worst case scenario he now knows way more about digital media and has way more "friends in high places" as well as a super supportive VP who rather openly is connected to the far right sector and any worries that might pop up here or on twitter are responded to in less than 72 hours, like with the Haitians in ohio.
